but to say they played like crap is not accurate

Watson passed for over 400 yards while the game was still close.. No garbage yards at all................This game was pretty even throughout... You are just trying to prop up Bama;s D more than you should... They play AWESOME against LSU compared to just good against Clemson... I swear some of you Gumps are sore winners... NOW If they had olayed against like they did against MSU then I would be with you 100%....Bama was in real trouble in this game.. The onside kick with 10 mins left says something about how worries Saban was at stopping Clemson... If you can't see that then I can't help ya... Now The Bama Offense was terrific.. Kiffen called a great game ans if Saban is Smart he should do whatever to keep him... Because with both Smart AND Kiffen gone, Bama will be in trouble next year. Saban is getting older and I think he is getting bored... I say he is here two year tops... Maybe nly ONE more IF they somehow win it next yar.......

Thank you for your rambling nonsense. Your grasp of football is remarkable...and not in a good way.

You gotta contain him or he'll beat you with his legs. Watson threw to perfection which is what you want a qb to have to do. 3 things happen in a pass and two of them are not prime. He just happened to be.

Only Bama fans would be picking apart a win in the title game two weeks after the fact.

Bama still has problems with pass defense. With the talent we have we should be able to keep a QB from passing 400 yards. Watson shreaded us. Maybe next year we can get our super cb's to turn around.

I'd actually love to watch that game again.

I believe Bama's D had two huge stops when Clemson was up 24-21. These defensive stops were so crucial.

Clemson had just scored 10 straight points in the 3rd and twice could've gotten a two score lead afterwards. Bama's Defense stopped Clemson two continuous possessions for no points. That's even with Clemson having great field position, they crossed the 50 yard line both times, and had all the momentum at that time. Bama's defense stepped up and didn't let Clemson score a single point on either of those two possessions when Clemson had a 24-21 lead. I don't think Bama wins that game if Clemson takes a 2 score lead there.

Not sure, but one of those possessions was when Bama finally finish the job with a QB sack. That sack was huge and force Clemson to kick again instead of going up 2 scores. 24-21 is way different than 31-21 or even 27-21. What a game that was and it was full of one huge play after the other.

Couldn't agree more. One of the drives Clemson got the ball at midfield then proceeded to get 10 yards on their first play. They really had a chance to take a commanding lead but Bama's D shut them down after that.

Is the Bama Secondary afraid to play bump and run. They were getting killed on timing routes

Watson did not throw quite to perfection. Threw a bad int that shifted momentum and over threw a couple of wide open receivers, one of which was definitely a TD. These days, you have to have exceptional and pretty much perfect qb play to beat Alabama without flukes. Watson played very well and almost perfect. That's why they almost won.

Let's see if you can avoid getting your arse kicked all over the field by teams like Florida and Memphis next year, and maybe you'll have something more to brag about than upsetting a better team that went on to win a championship.

Jesus you people are pathetic.

Ole Miss and Arkansas fans some of them are quite, as they say in France: pathetique. I almost want to pat them on the head and say, "It's all good, little buddy. It's all good! Pass me another beer."

Bama had their backs against the wall and had to take chances. Clemson knew that they could win by playing straight up. Risks worked out for bama. Good game. David beats Goliath. Am I doing this right?

I once heard someone say "that despite all evidence to the contrary, Ole Miss fans think they are the Gods of college football".

My favorite comment about Ole Miss was so perfect I remembered it for years: "Never have so MANY been so ARROGANT about so LITTLE."

What does not get pointed out was that last Clemson TD was in garbage time, not getting in til there were 12 seconds left and they were down two scores. The Last TD by Bama ended it.
