Reverse discrimination exists. I've experienced it in corporate positions and on sports teams in the past. It's a two way street. I remember black guys on my football team using racial slurs without any consequence.

Yeah, that doesn't make him a racist. Short-sighted and angry with what has gone; yes. Encouraging destruction of stores is foolishness.

That is debatable by today’s standards. The term racist seems to mean just about whatever people would like for it to mean.

Don't really care to agree with people who pretty much hate other people unless they are playing a sport they want their team to win.

It's just discrimination. Saying "reverse" implies that there is a typical version of discrimination that is normal and widespread. That simply isn't true.

That's no excuse and, quite frankly, one of the few times you'll ever see an actual racist being racist

How is it not the same thing? Granted, the circumstances are different because one is a man-made disaster and the other is a natural disaster

Exactly. He wishes he had kept his cool so the world wouldn't know what a racist piece of shite he really is. This happens all the time in today's world, from Mel Gibson and his rant against the Jews to Funny Maine and his racist views on white people.

I already knew who was going to side with who before I even opened this thread. Wish I wouldn’t have now, even though I knew already

You're being willfully ignorant and are protecting a straight up racist in the process. It doesn't matter what circumstances have been presented to you, it's never right to help one group of people while forsaking another group of people after any disaster - whether that be a tornado or a riot. It's made all the worse by the fact that he's the one who started the riot in the first place.

Well I'm not on anyone's side. I'm not a fan of FunnyMaine. He did something during the football season. I don't really remember what it was but yea.

The part that makes me angry is the local media were giving him air time afterwards like he was a movie star. The slanted media coverage everywhere compounds the problem. If I had done what he did, as a young white guy, I know that I would have been arrested immediately and condemned for what I had done.

You'd never be in the position where cops are killing you all the time without any repercussions. Please stop that.

If this means his videos stop getting shared this fall I call that a win. Guy isn’t funny or talented in any way.

That’s factually BS. Police killings happen relatively indiscriminately as it relates to race. Study after study shows this. For every George Floyd there’s a Tony Timpa.

I know you don’t care about data or studies. It’s all about muh feels. Emotion over logic. Mob mentality over reason.

Here’s a white dude being executed in a hallway, on video, after following all the orders and begging for his life. His offense? Someone saw him in a window with a BB gun. His name was Daniel Shaver. Guess what happened to the cop who executed him? Nothing. In fact he was given a $2,500 monthly pension because of the PTSD his lawyer said it caused him.

LINK

Imagine for half a second if the officer who killed George Floyd not only got off scot-free, but got rehired so he could collect a pension for PTSD.
