He most definitely can fly but he has a lot of work to do from the QB aspects of the game. Ty Simpson is probably the better overall QB right now but the speed Milroe has is unmatched and if he can develop more at his position shoot he will be DANGEROUS.

Hire Andy Kotelnicki and run his wide zone pistol offense with Milroe.

...but seriously Kotelnicki is the the best kept secret in cfb. The rhythm in his playcalling is unreal.

I’m drunk so if this is dumb just let me know

But what the hell are they doing with this guy?

Sure it would be nice if he was Tom Brady but who is? They’re giving him the next up playing time. So let him do his thing. Run him. He’s a MONSTER.

Stop handicapping him. Run first when he’s in. He can pass off of that.

SOMEONE needs to be ready next year. If he’s next up, murder some folks with what he does well when he’s in.

He’s a terrific athlete but I think Simpson will prove to be the better QB. A small part of me would love to see Milroe at RB for a few snaps.

I know Jalen eventually developed into an awesome passer, but when he played for us it was brutal. He won a lot of games for us, but he was also a liability in big games when the other team could sell out to stop the run. I'd rather go with the passer that can move than the runner who sometimes throws it

This.

Also Ty Simpson is probably a better runner than Bryce Young. He's got serious wheels, and he looks like Mac Jones throwing the ball. Im a big believer in Simpson

There's so much wishful thinking with a lot of these running QBs. It's always "Once he figures it out" or "As soon as he develops the passing game more"

Why do we assume they're going to develop into a great passer? Theres so much instinct and natural ability that doesn't just develop because you want it to, or because it would be awesome if it did.

Milroe’s Cannon

You guys are underplaying his arm talent. He has play in hs where he avoids the rush and throws a 60 yard dime off his back foot. Milroe is Vince Young reincarnated. Dude will be our starter next year and he will be the 2nd Bama QB to win the Heisman. Ty will hang around as a RS freshman because Milroe is going to be one and done with a rocket launcher and 4.4 speed.

This is called homerism and delusion.

I just attached the clip. Take a look and see if I’m “just being a homer.”

Lol i can't tell if you're joking or not. Every deep ball in that clip is severely underthrown, and it's from high school..

If he’s anywhere close to another Henry he probably needs to move to running back because he’s not another Vick or Murray imo

Simpson is a true freshman. If the uspeakable happened this year Milroe would come in and the offense would look nothing like it does now.

Run heavy, RPO type plays where we rely on his athleticism to move the chains. In this pass heavy phase of college football it may prove to be an unstoppable offense.

I interesting that you mention LSU because that offense with Daniels is similar to the offense it would be with Milroe if he imprives his passing game

Mac Jones would never be called a running qb but hw won a national title.

Huh, we had our best WR class ever when Jalen was our starting QB?

And that's the main reason it killed me watching him trot out there with Tua on the bench. We were wasting those wr's.

But, yes, of course they'll utilize his running ability if he wins the job.

Milroe is an absolute stud. I believe he will be great for us and will start. Love his killer spirit

I'm not saying he doesn't have arm talent at all but Jamarcus Russell had a cannon but he wasn't accurate.

Milroe is similar to what Lamar Jackson was when he first started at Louisville.

He can still develop into being a passing quarterback but as of right now he's not their yet and Ty is further along in that department.
