Hurts is not going to be the QB and is what he is, but to be fair, he is playing the best defense he will see all year.
Even Jalen looked great as the 2nd team QB in the spring game. Every 2nd team QB always looks good.

He needs to seriously consider utilizing his athleticism at another position. He's a great athlete who can definitely play at the next level. Just not as a QB.

Not defending Jalen per se, as I much prefer Tua. However, our 1st Oline really struggled versus the pass rush, and we have 2 starting WRs out with injury. When I got a look, I never saw any WRs open versus the 1st defense.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think Hurts is our best QB, but he had shite to work with, particularly in the first half. The situation is rarely as hyperbolic as this forum makes it out to be.
BigMac Jones looked good, but our 2nd team D is a joke compared to the first, and our 2nd team Offense ain't half bad.

I like Jalen, and have supported him when he was the guy, but the next pass he throws at Bryant Denny should be to Big Al on a golf cart at halftime of an A-Day in the future.

Gotta give Hurts credit for being consistent. This is at least 2 games in a row that he had a horrible first half
