With the Tua injury, Jalen was given a golden opportunity to showcase his improvement and show he is still the guy......and it sound like he couldn't even outperform Mac Jones. Damn it Jalen.

Not defending Jalen per se, as I much prefer Tua. However, our 1st Oline really struggled versus the pass rush, and we have 2 starting WRs out with injury. When I got a look, I never saw any WRs open versus the 1st defense.

I hear ya but I saw just a lot of bad throws and blown reads.

I think he should move to the RB rotation. With him being a righty and Tua being a lefty, you could hand it to Jalen on a sweep to the right, he just has to read one safety. If the DB comes up to stop the run throw it deep, if he stays on the receiver tuck it.

One play does not an offense make, but it’d definitely force opposing d coordinators into some tough decisions.

If he's gonna transfer, I think he should transfer now, because his energy and body language look like a guy who's accepted defeat in the QB battle and is no longer out there competing to for a spot. He has no sense of urgency or a chip on his shoulder

To be fair, he never really displayed either during the last two years.

To be fair that was his style, not much emotion just get it done. Yesterday I saw some things in his body language that showed true frustration.

I know. At first we considered that an asset but it eventually almost became a liability.

JMO but #2 looked pretty much like he did in his 1st spring game. He is never in hell going to light up the stadium with his passing skills. The plays are limited for sure that doesn't bode well for a breakout either. The best thing he does is run with the ball and he did that several times. I do believe he will transfers once the school year ends. Best of luck to him.
