We’ve been to the Elite 8 twice in our program’s history. Hell yea it would be a success if we could add a third trip there.

Also I agree with others in this thread, I’d rather play Wisconsin than BYU in the Sweet 16 if we get there.

In one I have them losing to Duke in the Elite 8 and in the other I have them losing to Wisconsin in the Sweet 16.

Final Four. I think if they get past BYU they can beat Duke. I think the Flagg injury will linger.

Back in my day I'd routinely pick Bama in the Final 4 when we were a bubble team and now on paper we're 50/50 to make the final 4 in a given year. You guys gotta pick Bama to at least make it that far.

I will just say that we have a decent shot at going to the finals. We can beat Duke. Auburn hung right in with them at their place and Duke's schedule was not tough. I think Flagg will remain a bit slowed. Nelson maybe as well, but we don't depend on Grant like they do Flagg.

We've beaten Houston already this year... assuming they make the final 4.

We are consistent. We should not get bounced by a substandard team early. It usually takes a really good team playing really good to beat us.

I agree with others though. Elite 8 would be great. You are a legit powerhouse when you are going final four and elite 8 regularly. You can build a program on those kinds of results.

You say that, and that's true against lesser teams. But I think the last Florida game showed that we rely on him way more than a lot of people realize, and in a lot more ways than just scoring.
