1. Consistent run game. We have four good rbs that can wear them down.

2. Take what they give you and increase tempo whenever we can.

3. Have two different game plans. One for first half and one for 2 half. They do great job of adjusting after halftime.
4. Limit foolish behaviors.
5. Just compete hard for 4 quarters.
6. Catch the damn balls.
7. Force 3 and outs more.
8. Stockton make him throw a lot.
9. Keep being aggressive and keep scoring.

Same things win that have always won.

1. We need the OL to play a great game and give Ty some time in the pocket and open more clear running lanes in the middle
2. Need better push than what we've seen so far from the DL
3. Need the LB crew to get out of the witness protection program and have a big day
4. DB needs to just be exactly who they are
5. Limit penalties and have no personal fouls

Those 5 things happen, we're looking at a W

-As many have said, clog the middle; stop the inside trap.
-They like to throw bubble & tunnel screens to their WRs; DBs need to be physical as shite.
-Wrap up on defense and gang tackle; can’t let them bully us for extra yards - Kirby won’t hesitate to roll the dice on 4th and less than 5 if they are down.
-LBs and DL have to know their assignments. UGA will certainly run some read option with Stockton.
-Obviously have to pressure the QB. Don’t care what it takes, we have to get in his face, disrupt his timing, and get his arse to the ground.

On offense:
-give Ty a clean pocket and time.
-efficient run game to keep them honest.
-their DBs can be had. Tennessee carved them up. If pass pro is good-to-great, our WRs should feast.
-Don’t play hero ball and force anything; Live to play another down. Also can’t dwell on prior plays; on to the next one.

Most importantly, if we jump out to a lead, do not take the foot off their necks. Prepare to play past regulation. UGA will not roll over and die at adversity.

Don’t hate it honestly. At least we are better against a more traditional style run game than we are one with a lot of QB heavy option type runs like FSU or Vandy. Not to mention a heavy run game shortens the game and limits possessions, I’m fine with that on the road. Higher chance that a fluky turnover or big play flips the game on its head.

Conversely I know nothing about your run game. I know KD caught a lot of flak last year for not running the ball more. Haven't heard a peep this year one way or the other. What's the word?

P.S. Just looked at your rushing numbers agains FSU. 87 yards. I think our D is better than FSUs. We will see.

We ran it down their throats on our opening touchdown drive, old school smashmouth style. But then after that we just never committed to running the ball, which Grubb is known to do.

Our RB1 Jam Miller has been out all season, but will be back next weekend. Kevin Riley, who was kind of an afterthought going into the season, has looked really good, and he took over the RB1 spot the last two weeks. We have a stud freshman, Dear, that looks like the real deal when he has gotten the carries, but who knows if he will get any against UGA.

Tennessee should have won the game. Heupel iced his young kicker at the end of the game. He should not have run the last two or three plays unless he was going for a td which he obvious was not. Send the kicker in sooner rather than later if you are counting on a field goal.

Use the oldest and still best strategy in football: run the ball and stop the run.

If UGA runs it a lot that will make the passing game a little less effective in that you can't get into a groove as a passer if you're passing every 3rd or 4th play. Last year Beck got into a groove when UGA decided to throw it all over the place.

Going back to the game last year.. Wommack and Co. have got to find a way to get off the field on 3rd and 4th downs this year. Letting them convert those this year, at home, will be a lot of momentum for our guys to overcome and I still don’t know if we have the type of leadership on our sideline to maintain focus and intensity when adversity hits and momentum is against us.

I think the problem comes before 3rd and 4th downs. Wommack and company need to stop giving up so many yards on first and second downs, creating 3rd and shorts all the time. When a defense is constantly facing 3rd and short the odds aren't in their favor. The offense actually has the advantage because they are able to run any play in the playbook. Whereas, putting them in 3rd and long eliminates a lot of the playbook.

there is a less than 0% chance we are wearing anything other than red.

I still can't believe people (not specifically you boz, just people in general) put stock into what people "call for" online on the internet.
