It is homer glasses when you’re acting like our backup LBer is better than any of their guys. Our top 3 DBs are better than theirs but their 3-6 DBs are better than ours. Once again better DL than us. We have better OLBs but they have far better ILBers.

I just showed up to make a whiny thread about not having a pass rush when I saw this. I lm glad I’m not the only one severely missing a decent pass rush.

Except you don’t know that. He’s not playing. Can Kaho play well consistently (good coverage, good tackler, etc). You don’t know because he’s an unknown.

Experience. Saban's defensive scheme requires experience + intelligence and "QB of the defense." Bama basically lost the LSU game has 2 weeks before the season.
Plus lost Mcmillon and Ray.
Bama had high school seniors running the defense last year.
But will pay dividends in 2020. They'll start reacting instead of thinking.
Harris is special. Mosely and Harris on the field at the same time will feel like shades of McClain and Hightower.

But it’s true. I can’t stand watching my Defense sit back and react, especially not in CFB. Most QBs, as we are seeing even Heisman QBs, shite the bed with pressure. I wish our D focused more on that over anything else.

Yea we get mad at DBs on here but in reality the receivers had all day to get open .

Exactly it was night and day difference, makes me wonder if Saban started calling the defense

It has been stated a few times, but we switched to a nickel defense in the second half of that game. We wanted to get more experience on the field. I think we are probably waiting on Golding.

And how exactly in the hell do you know this when the guy has had exactly one fricking TFL in 19 games over 2 years?

They don’t have fat asses like Biggs, Pettway, Davis etc at DE on passing downs. It’s been a recurring theme for years.
