Agree with this 100%. Win or gtfo. That goes for the players as well.

I have never seen a group of RB's at Bama this F bad. Then again, I am only 75.

Of coaches that would leave their current school, I don’t know who I would want to replace him.

I was wrong. Load the team busses with cash and head to Indiana.

You're an open wheels racer. Enzo Ferrari hands you the keys to an F1 ride. You think he expects you to try your best and do good? frick no. He wants podiums. He gave you the keys to get podiums.

DeBoer has the seat and the backing, but both can be yanked if he doesn't produce. That's the game

The problem with this analogy is people forget we were ready to run Saban off in 2023. He got blown at home by a team Deboer beat at Washington. He struggled to beat an AAC team (with Simpson playing 3 quarters). He was one play away from losing to a 4-win team. And he needed a miracle play to beat a 7-loss team that was blown out by NMS. And he did that with the added luxury of 40+ additional players that either transferred or went pro like Downs, Kool-Aid, Key, Latham, Arnold, etc.

So it's more like Saban handed him the keys to an F1 with a failing transmission. I mean Simpson, a Saban recruit, looked as bad today as he did against South Florida in 2023. If anything, ask wtf Deboer didn't pull a QB out of the portal if Simpson was his best choice.

Deboer didn't have to play him. Deboer is the coach.

We weren’t ready to run Saban out

This board was about ready to walk off a cliff when it was announced

On board with everything but us ready to run Saban off, I think there was some grumbling but I don’t recall anyone wanting to send him packing.

Kalen DeBoer has more SEC title game appearances

Fans starting to be ok with moral victories like getting blown out in a seccg concern me.

The black hoodie only became a thing because people unironically wanted him in a suit on the sideline. It was just a counter to that nonsense

Good coaches aren't afraid to make hard choices when they have to.
