Because I'm having trouble quantifying it. True freshman, zero competitive game experience, down 14, national title game, come on at halftime, win national title.

I had 3 hours to sleep on it and I'm still as amazed as I was at 4 AM.

I can't think of anything like it is sports and I am 38 yrs old. Other coaches would of made the switch but to comeback and win the game is unheard of.

I'm still shocked/amazed too. That was the greatest game I've ever watched. The number of true freshmen that played key roles in that comeback is unbelievable. There were at least 5 or 6 playing at one time.

Just incredible play by so many freshman, losing Williams, Tua of course played great but so many others but we still caught a number of breaks and UGA just couldn't put it away when they had the chances like after the interception in the second half.

Amazed at Tua, and all the freshman. Our D was amazing 2nd half! The terrible 1st half needed to happen for Bamas rebirth last night and beyond.

For anyone claiming we don't play freshmen, they can suck it! All Saban and staff have to do is show the tape from the 2nd half of last nights game. Jonah went down, insert Leatherwood. Jalen struggling, insert Tua. Najee Harris was a huge spark in the run game. Jeudy, Ruggs, and Smith all with big catches in that half!!!
Piss on the haters!!!

In all fairness, there is basis for the criticism. It took the worst crisis of the season to get Tua and Leatherwood on the field in a meaningful situation. Do they not also work hard in practice? And even ignoring Tua for a moment...with the way our OL has struggled at times, why hasn't Leatherwood played more in key games? And anyone would be hard pressed to justify playing Bo over Najee. That's the real head scratcher.

Someone tweeted that they thought they were watching a Christian movie about a football player from Hawai'i, it was so unbelievable.

It's all fair. I think there is value in showing you won't pull a guy over a bad game. I think it helps build trust on the team with players and coaches, and is a good thing to tell recruits. I am of the opinion though that Tua should have been given this shot much earlier in the year. He got thrown to the wolves last night. Glad he was able to get the W.

I didn't enjoy the vast majority of the game and that kind of pisses me off / is making me reevaluate myself a bit. I need to start enjoying these things more. Last night was incredible but even when Tua et al started balling in the second half I was still stuck on and stewing over the first half. Cheated myself out of experiencing an incredible game really.

Bama has played a lot of brilliant games and shootouts but I can't think of a bigger comeback and crazier, more amazing second half of football than last night.

Only thing I can compare it to was last year's SuperBowl and Brady's comeback.

This isn't peewee. Working hard in practice doesn't entitle anyone to playing time.

All that and we led the game for exactly 1 play

Of course it isn't peewee. WTF does that have do with it? Look at the way our OL has sucked at times, then come back and try to say with a straight face that Leatherwood didn't deserve a chance to play significant snaps this year.

If you're more productive than what's on the field, then hell yes, working hard in practice earns you playing time, because the only other reason to not play you is because upperclassmen are being favored because they're upperclassmen.

What's so crazy is how right all of the Tua people were all along, despite getting slammed for "thinking they know more than Saban" every single day for a year.

How utterly right we were . Wow
