He looks fine jumping around at the 1:15 mark of this video: LINK

Drew DeArmond also tweeted:
quote:

Coming from a great source looks like BRob (ankle/hamstring) & Darrian Dalcourt (ankle) are considered day-to-day…things could change & should know more on Monday/soon from Nick Saban

He has a pulled muscle. He might be ok by game time.

Looked like a hammy…hopefully minor cause those can be a bitch. We need BRob for this game.

Rest him up for most of the week and get him ready for Saturday. Ditto for the other injured guys.

From Aaron Suttles:
quote:

Nick Saban: Brian Robinson has a pulled muscle in his leg.

Also says B Rob is considered day-to-day.

Hoping BRob and Outz get healthy, feel short yardage plays are gonna be crucial this Saturday.

I think you are right. We couldn’t even get 1 yd or Less conversions yesterday… got to change. Wished we would go under center or pistol for those situations

From the SI write up on injury updates (posted in Tidings):

quote:

Brian Robinson Jr.'s biggest run play in the Iron Bowl ended up being a worrisome sight for Crimson Tide fans. Alabama is already down three scholarship running backs due to injury, and after Robinson ran for 37 yards early in the fourth quarter on Alabama's field goal drive, he left the game with an injury and never returned.

During Sunday's SEC Championship coaches teleconference, Alabama coach Nick Saban gave an update on Robinson's injury status.

"He has a lower-body pulled muscle," Saban said. "We'll kind of see how he progresses during the course of the week and see where he's at. I can't tell you any more than that right now."

He won't be 100 percent if he plays.

Use him on the 3 and 1 and 4 and 1. The rest of it leave it to Sanders. My approach to this game is protect Bryce and go air raid.

I think Sanders doesn't have it anymore. Think the car crash injuries made him a slower runner.

Alabama has very little chance of getting a ground game going against this Georgia front seven. Our only chance is throwing to set up the run later on. At least that's what I'm hoping. I don't have a good feeling about this one after yesterday.

Yeah, I think we probably need to pass on downs like third and one. We gotta run a bit but not when it’s expected.

I agree. Air raid and stretching the field vertically is our only chance.

The problem is protecting Bryce.

Going empty been our best offense to keep the number of rushers down. Bryce only needs to make 1/2 miss before making the throw...
