Props to him. Made some clutch plays. But I'm seeing some crazy takes about him being the best qb in the sec. Literally had the easiest job as a QB today. Crystal clear pocket with zero pass rush all day, 2 backs averaging over 7 yards a carry. It's incredibly easy to perform when you have those two things. Not to mention the UGA receivers made every single contested catch today.

He’s the type of Saban quarterback from before 2016. The fans would get up in arms because HE JUST WINS but he goes in the 2nd or 3rd day because that’s his talent level when you subtract all the rest around him.

Nah not gonna lie. He was pretty damn good tonight. Made multiple clutch tight window throws on 3rd down. Still threw 2 picks even tho they robbed us of one

Teams are going after 5. Someone else needs to play.

Wommack D game plan wasn't working great . He finally started making adjustments to get some pressure on Stockton in 2nd half and get the safeties closer to the line. By then it was too late........Wommack probably adjust for next game.

FSU exposed him and teams have been been feasting on him ever since. Hopefully he gets it together soon

UGA had a game plan for us and Gunner executed it for the most part. Kirby knew keeping the game close would be in their favor. Gunner might not be an elite QB but his experience executed a win for them last night.

You don't need an incredible performance when the refs have your back.

Womack adjustments for the second half gave up 150 rushing yards

He won. He made the throws. Of course, they're going to fawn all over him for now. It's understandable.

He'll eventually have a game where he falls off. And KR will have a game where he plays lights out. It's all part of the deal.

He won't play much in the NFL. Good player though. I like him. He reminds me of Jake Coker.

Gunner is a throwback to the 70's QB. Mike Bobo and Gunner are making the QB rollout great again.

Move the chains.

Every good COLLEGE QB doesn't play in the NFL. Coach Bryant had several.

If the Reese INT was upheld and the PI was called nobody would be talking about him.

Truth.

To be a real starting QB in the NFL, at the college level at least, you have to be able to put a mediocre team on your back and carry it to wins again and again. Even then as a starter, that doesn't usually translate well to the NFL. You truly have to be elite to make it there.

While I like him, Gunner is not that guy. KR could very well be though.

I was surprised Grubb didn't have more designed QB runs and roll-outs for Russell. That is where he makes defenses have to make hard decisions. Russell rolling out makes DC have nightmares.
