Grubb calls the dumbest shite when the offense is starting to look in rhythm.

When DeBoer was hired, I was stoked to see his pro-style offense with variations of different looks and lots of pre-snap motion. It has been anything but that. Grubb also will destroy a good looking drive to call one of his tick tacky trick plays that never works, which inevitably stalls the drive.

No matter who is OC for Deboer they are going to run similar offense as Grubbs because that is what Deboer wants. Pac12ish light

Offense scored 41 and looked great today...

Should have been 48 if not for BS refs.

Yep I am encouraged by offense

There were some moments I didn’t care for but overall enjoyed what the offense was doing. Young team. They’ll get better.

Ultimately this. I'm cautiously satisfied.

I feel the same way. I wanted to see improvement from the o line from last year. They looked more aggressive and were able for the most part, control the line of scrimmage. We didn't do that in a single game last year. I just want them to show improvement each week.

They looked pretty good. Definitely room for improvement this week. Just need to show some improvement week to week. O line still needs work. They weren't really dominating ECU.

Tbh I liked Sheridan better. I thought he was a better, more rhythmic playcaller. Unfortunately he was hamstrung by Milroe at QB.

No way you watched that game and truly thought the offense "looked great". You can't be serious.

You know it's bad when Matt Austin tells you that was a bullshite flag. Completely robbed us of a beautiful touchdown run.

Relative to what I usually see in cfb...absolutely

Good god how did Hurts and Milroe ever win the job at Bama.
They won it purely off saying the right shite and being cool hand Luke.

???
Hurts was pretty far ahead mentally as a freshman and safe with the ball. There were a few mistakes Keelon was making today that hurts didn’t as a freshman
It’s nice we have 4-5 games before Georgia, we need to get Keelon a bit more comfortable in the pocket and flow of the game.

Not in the regular season he wasn’t. He had 9 INTs and something like 12 fumbles in 12 games. Which is why I think he was told to be more conservative going into post season. But he became too safe
Also Hurts and every Bama QB pre 2021 played with solid to great OLs which were guaranteed to have at least respectable ground games as well

Hurts played in fifteen games as a true freshman and started fourteen, he had a 2.4% int rate around 9 picks. That is “safe” by all accounts, especially as a true freshman.
I’m not sure where you’re getting twelve fumbles from though. He had one at USC on a botched snap, one at Ole Miss, and then another at LSU. Jalen was never tagged as a turnover issue

Also if I never see another 'Ole, it will be too soon.

I get he was a true freshman but 9 INTs through 12 games isn’t safe. He also had numerous dropped INTs. The last 3 games he had 0 INTs but he was also struggling to complete 10+ yard passes. So the safe part became bad. He had numerous fumbles but most were recovered.
I’m not trying to shite on Hurts here and overall it was an impressive true freshman year but you’re here to trying to extrapolate a young QB’s first and only start. KR doesn’t have near enough snaps to compare him to Hurts (or Milroe) in any good or bad way right now

Wasn't he the offensive player of the year in the SEC that season?
