Henry is now the sole record holder for my 200 yard rushing games in NFL history. Seven in his career.

Most 200 yard games in NFL history.

Considering what he did in high school, college, and now the NFL - it’s crazy what he has accomplished.

A 200 yard 4 TD game from a 31 year old RB is practically unheard of. In fact I bet it's the only one in history. And on 36 carries in freezing cold Green Bay. He's a genetic anomaly.

When you combine pros, college and high school...he's the greatest RB in history right now. Only Barry Sanders has a resume comparable.

I doubt he plays long enough to break Emmit Smith's rushing record...but who knows. Couple more solid seasons and he should be top 5 in rushing yards. I think even without that record he could be the NFL GOAT...esp if he could get a SB ring. Wish he could before retirement.

Of course, I thought Julio was a lock for the alltime top 10 in receiving yards...just needed 1 more solid season. Still an obvious HOFer, but once he left Atlanta he fell off hard...pretty much a waste his last 3 years stat wise.

I can.

For most of their existence, the Titans have just been the Houston Oilers in new uniforms.

This is an organization that once took Pacman Jones with the #6 overall pick.

All the fans who bought PSLs for Titans season tickets at Nissan Stadium now are gonna have to fork over that money all over again, yet the Titans continue to put a bad product on the field.

Simps will drone on about how Herschel & Bo are the best RBs in SEC history but Henry is right there if not above them.

Should be the only back with 2 2000 yard seasons if the Ravens O coordinator wasn't a hater lol. As they say, if if and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas. Derrick's is the only Hall of Fame induction I think I may ever be excite for. Just easily by far my favorite non-Niner.

The best to ever do it. Still out there running like he was in 2015.

I hate the Titans drafted him in the first place. He’s the kind of player who could have been a multiple time Super Bowl champ too, but he was stuck with that sucky franchise.

Yep.

Though I think a lot of it was initially hatred of all things Bama. Because of the 2,000+ yard season he had at Alabama, combined with how he has performed in the NFL, I think many rational humans are coming to the realization that he is in tier 1 for the greatest running backs in SEC history. An argument could definitely be made for him being #1 all-time.

Henry is a freak athlete with the work ethic and training regimen of Jerry Rice and Walter Payton. A man with a singular ferocious focus in life. A Nick Saban in RB cleats .
Just love Derrick Henry.

You can probably make the argument that he was under utilized at Bama due to poor pass pro.

That’s probably 90% of it. Bama haters and journos chalked up his success (and other UA players) to the talent around him. The other 10% was due to Henry really only being a feature back for one year. We totally underutilized him in 2014.

Eh, he ran for 2k in a season and won a Heisman in an era where it is hard for a tailback to win one. He had an all-timer college career.

If he had gotten two seasons as the full-time feature back he might be considered the GOAT. He barely played as a freshman and split carries with Yeldon as a sophomore.

Saw a stat, multiple 200 yd game/4 TDs only been done by Henry and one other - Jim Brown.

Not bad company.

Behind Smith by 1200 after their first two years. Then Smith avg probably around 1400 for about 10 years or so (damn, that's impressive, oline regardless). He needs 4000 to pass Payton; 5500 or so to catch Smith.

I could see Henry as high as #2 alltime if he plays another 3-4 years...but Smith's record is like Jerry Rice's receiving record...it's hard to see anyone breaking those...along with Brady's passing yardage record.
Even in a pass first era, the longevity required would be insane. There would have to be drastic rule changes or significantly more games added in a season.
