I don’t know about the second thoughts part, but to have folks mad at him two games into the season (both of which, he’s won) is a bit ridiculous.

I’m sure CKD has some thick skin and I know we have lunatic fans but those types are in the minority. Most of us, while less than happy with the offense have faith in the man. I know I do.

Saban got shite on after EVERY loss and most games that we didn't cover the point spread.

It's going to take this fanbase a looooooong time to sober up from the 2009-2020 high.

Second thoughts on making $10,000,000 a yr? Having one of the best facilities in the country? Having all the resources that a coach needs to win championships?

I wouldn’t really worry about some ppl’s opinion when it comes to Bama football.

We still haven’t seen the starters on this OL play a game together yet. I guess I’m in the small group that has the patience to let this coach and his staff and this team gel together and two games isn’t enough time for that in a new system that’s replaced a 17yr old system.

And if they lose a game that’s fine too. Sooner or later it’s going to happen and there’s no sense in acting like a crybaby bitch when it happens.

Is Deboer going to be compared to Saban by the uneducated sidewalk masses? Of course he he is, that comes with the territory. Saban didn’t start out all nice and shiny btw though 2007 was beyond frustrating given the collapse

Criticisms are valid based on how they played last night. OL sucked, Jalen hung on the to the ball too long, couldn’t run it until late in the 4th, etc. all of those criticisms are valid and would be levied if Saban were still the coach.

That said, Deboer is an offensive genius. He will figure out how best to use Jalen’s limitations, that’s my hope least.

If he doesn’t, well, we’ve got backup options. All is not lost.

I have faith that Deboer will be a good coach, but that doesn’t mean he’s above criticism. And he damn sure doesn’t need you gate keeping in an anonymous message board.
