He's a walk-on RB for the Class of 2026.

Stepp's recruitment to me seems alot like Sales. Alabama was perceived to be in the catbird seat for awhile then everything goes silent. I'm sure Oregon will drop the bag on this one.

Any time you see Oregon, just assume our staff will have to sell an organ to make the bag heavy enough for the player.

The defense allowed the 2nd fewest yards in the SEC (OU was #1). They were 8th in total D nationally prior to the start of the playoffs, and they were instrumental in the comeback to beat OU in the playoffs. The defense is not the problem. They have allowed 30 points in 3 games out of 27 games…..Golding, under CNS, allowed 40+ points four times in 12 games

The defense consistently held opponents between 17-24 points in just about every single ball game while also simultaneously creating scoring opportunities for our own offense.

The defense led the team in virtually all 11 wins last season. There wasn’t a single game that Bama won in a “shootout” fashion.

This will be the best defense Bama has field under CKW, and it’s 100% up to the offense to put 24 points on the board (or more) to win games. That’s not asking that much.

Imo, Keelon Russell will be the talk of the SEC and this will be the best Bama team under CKD thus far.

Exactly! Who are you going to hire that is better than CKD? The coaching pool is not a field white unto harvest!

Some of the names mentioned - Lanning and Sarkisian - were never available. Dodged a bullet with Norvell going nowhere. Never even considered Kiffin.

I’d say Kiffin is the only argument and even today it is not a lock that Kiffin is the better choice.

What we have is a perennial 10-3 coach AND a less than elite NIL budget. Competing for championships was expected under CNS. That will become a distant memory under CKD. If we had unlimited resources, we could overcome a 10-3 coach. We just don't have that kind of money.

The teams that usually win in the nfl are the ones with dynamic offenses. Defense is becoming more irrelevant by the year. The days of 2011 will never come back. Let Deboer cook.

With that said, we can't complain about making that hire if we have that restrictive of a hiring criteria. We are the only blue blood program that wouldn't consider an assistant coach for the job. Jim Leonhard and Vince Kehres would've been fine candidates.

When we hired DeBoer he was coming off of nearly winning a National Championship. We also are only behind Texas(what can you do) and LSU(one year anomaly where they’re breaking the bank to get a ton of transfers in to make year one of Lane look worth all the bullshite) in conference.

But by all means if you’re worried about NiL you could pass around the collection plate on Sunday and help out.

Unfortunately when the collection plate goes around the Alabama NIL fund has to take a back seat to the serious issues of our day like men in women's sports, vandalism of our national monuments, and the Haitian dog eating epidemic.

Who the frick defends men in women's sports?

The fact that this issue had to make its way to the Supreme Court is fricking lunacy.

He was mocking conservatives - not agreeing with them or advocating for them.

Yea it was so much better when we only funded learing centers, seasme street in Iraq, drag story times, etc.

The SPLC had a great use for the collection plate themselves.
