It's just such a strange situation with Harris. Getting to the point to where I almost don't care. Don't mind recruits playing the game and doing hat tricks. Just don't string people along and be all coy about it.
I don't blame you, this things gotten ridiculous.

I think recruits today are bigger trolls than ever, and I find that hilarious. It makes money for the pay sites and the kids get to laugh at people losing their shite over a decision. I want to feel sorry for him because he's 18, but I really do think he's laughing at this point.

It's also a well-known fact that some of the sites will push a kid to delay an announcement in order to drum up excitement and interest.

If I recall correctly, Solomon got a thank you letter for attending a bbq at Michigan, a bbq he did not attend. Additionally, the thank you letter mispelled his name
Hah, whoops!
Thanks for the info.

I don't think the Najee news is new. Najee's coach said he thinks that Najee would have to go back home to get his stuff while Hank was interviewing Tua

I'm not sure I even want a recruit that would rather be coached by aspergers pedophile Jim Harbaugh vs GOAT Nick Saban, who's had every one of his starting RBS drafted, 2 Heisman winners at that position in 10 seasons. Also Ann Arbor blows

Forget about Saban for a second. Burton Burns is probably the best RB Coach in the nation. His track record of producing successful RBs is unparalleled. Why would you not want to play for that guy if you have a chance?

How funny would it be if he is flying home because he plans on signing with Cal.
It would suck losing him but watching Michigan melt would be worth it

Best guess now is that he's going to Michigan.
Exactly where I am at now with it. I hope he ends up in TTown on Monday but either way not that big of a deal now to be honest because the most important happening on Monday is in Tampa. UA is playing for a NC and will continue to be a contender as long as Saban is here and 1 5 star that goes elsewhere will not change that.

So, uh, this is a fricking interesting statement from Ryan Bartow:
What. The. frick.
quote:
Leatherwood attended Florida's 30-3 Outback Bowl win over Iowa Monday in Tampa. Leatherwood had intentions of going from Tampa to Gainesville, Fla. to enroll.
Alabama caught word and squashed those intentions to hold onto the five-star prospect. It was that close.
What. The. frick.

From that same article:
quote:
Alabama early enrollees offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood and JUCO defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs both turned heads already in Wednesday's bowl practice.
Buggs especially shined, per a source, making quick work of several veteran offensive lineman who are in the two-deep.
Alabama recruits the JUCO ranks for instant-impact talents and following day one it appears Buggs has that potential.
"He's a dude and a grown man," the source indicated.

How would anyone know that ? He is reporting this like it is fact, but I dont see how anyone outside of Leatherwood, UA closed doors, UF closed doors would have any idea about something like this.

You would think, if those were his plans, then he would have ignored calls from Bama. That doesn't make sense. I'm calling "fake news"

Sounds like it came from that poster on the UF boards. I knew these so called recruiting experts read these boards for info.

One of the UM boards I was reading this morning was talking about Leatherwood and that there still might be a chance he does not end up at UA. I guess they had not seen the photos of him at practice yesterday.

Also I want to say that everyone really needs to understand that these premium sites dont care about the quality of their work. It is purely for clicks. If you go back, and put together a timeline of events of how this Harris situation got so weird it is almost completely fabricated.
It is literally a lot of message board rumors and innuendo.
My prediction is these Michigan fans are going to be really embarrassed that they got this level of hustled by the premium sites.
Everyone should chill. Until Harris shows up somewhere else, or says he is going to go somewhere else everything based in reality points directly to him attending UA.
I will say however that those taking the "it doesn't matter" attitude are wrong. This kid is not the best back in this class; he is likely the best back in the next five classes. Harris is a gamechanger type talent even at Bama.
