Yeah, Michigan is by far his most likely destination, however I'm not sure how close UGA has pulled to us for an unlikely second place. Really just wondering if Fisch move might impact his recruitment at all, but I think most know he is UM's to lose if he hasn't committed behind closed doors to them already.

As far as Sims the RB offer goes, he runs a 4.35. 100 meter champion. Could be a DB, if it's a full offer. Pretty good film.

If we miss out on Cam Akers because we stuck with Najee and then he flips?

I'll buy two copies of Nic's book and set them on fire.

Without reading either of them.

Why didn't he commit on the spot then? Bama is the in state school and far and away his best offer. He doesn't have a commitable offer would be my guess and it may be a preferrred walk on offer. Let's let it play out.

Najee is making the recruiting sites some big bucks this week.

There will be reporters at the airport if this goes on until after the game. Either way, it'll be entertaining.

Steve Lorenz says he definitely won't be at the airport waiting on Harris.

I feel like he is the most irrelevant recruiting analyst for Bama

Alabama offered a preferred walk-on spot to an in-state RB late Wednesday. It has zero to do with you know who.

Back when I used to do a lot of recruiting stuff on the old TideSprots board and then on WoollyAL, I "met" a couple of "insider" sources via PMs and emails. I occasionally got info I wasn't "allowed" to share, such as silent commits and flips. Sometimes, I'd then PM with Bone too and he usually already knew what I had learned and was keeping it on the DL. Bone's a'ight. Good times.

Apparently Solomon said "frick Michigan" in Jeremiah Holloman's (UGA WR commit) periscope.

He posted this to apologize to Michigan:

ICYMI Bama leads for 5-star DT Aubrey Solomon, but he insists U-M still in it due in part to "Momma Gwen" Effect

Shot in the dark, but I don't think Solomon lands at Michigan after he revealed his true thoughts about the school.

In His Words: “The last three [official visits] are to USC, Auburn and Florida. Jan. 12 is supposed to be USC, Jan. 20 is Auburn and the last week in January is supposed to be Florida, but it might change. Oregon and Clemson are the (other) two that could get it. These last couple visits is going to be the deciding point. I plan on trying to commit after my last official visit. I can play football anywhere but I just want a world class education."

On Georgia: “They are in a good spot with me and a good spot with my family, but at the end of the day I know I need to weigh my options. My mom wants me to go as far away from home as I can. I am a big momma’s boy. My sister wants me to possibly go to Florida State because she lives in Tallahassee.

On the Florida official visit: “I just want to see the academic part, because I know from the football standpoint they only have four returning d-tackles and I could possibly play early. But, I have no idea on their academics besides what I’ve seen on the computer.

On USC: “I was born in Fresno, Calif. My grandma lives in Arizona and my uncle lives in Arizona, so they are very close. I have a couple uncles in California and my Godmom’s in California too, so I have a lot of family connections out there.

Rivals Reaction: Alabama is the presumed leader in the clubhouse after Solomon and his family came away with the Tide's plan for him both on and off the field. But Michigan hasn't given up and a late offer from Oregon has Solomon seriously considering shaking up his visit plans. The one wildcard could be Georgia, which is close to home and has already hosted Solomon on several unofficial visits. No matter how his visits shake out, Solomon is likely to keep people guessing until the end.

Momma wants him to leave the state of Georgia, and in this case I think momma knows what is best.
