Smith and Ruggs. We need WRs, so from what I can gather is we want four in this class.

I don't think we would take Collins if he wanted to commit.

Two more for sure.

D. Smith will be one.

I've heard that Tarik Black really wants to be a part of this class, but have no idea who the staff has at the top of the board at WR.

If Ruggs doesn't want to come, then there are several to replace him. Hate to miss on him, but with Smith a neat lock, a 4th WR is a luxury not a need. Besides, have y'all noticed the amount of time Collins has been spending in Tuscaloosa lately???

I think Collins wants to come to Alabama, but we arent pushing like his other suitors. He comes from a really good family, so he wont be won over by any games (neg recruiting, depth chart, etc) or anything like that. This one is a true football decision.

If our staff decides they want to push, we will get him. Its that simple with him.

Markail Benton is listed as an OLB , but is he projected to play inside?

If we land Browning, that would be 4 OLB's in this class

Everything will be final, final on national signing day on December 14th.”

I really wanted to hold onto Baker and glade to see he is very solid in his commitment .
I dont know if were projecting him at OT or OG ?
But It's very important that people understand Offensive guard take time to develop.
Both Cotton and Casher have not really been that bad both have good size and are quick .
But need to get stronger When you consider this is there first real action.

What are you guys assessment of Cotton and Cashers going forward the rest of the season & next year?

I'll be believe Ruggs winds up at UF when I see it. Sort of like Mack Wilson and Ben Davis last year.

The only thing... I wish we would have let him commit when he tried several months ago. He's completely blown up this year.

Cotton will be in the NFL one day. Just has to grasp the mental aspect of the game. Has to know his assignments.

Agree and as a Wr does he see Del Rio or Felipe Franks in Macks system the better Qb candidates over Jalen and Tua.
I would not say so at this point.
But the kid franks does had some skills but has yet to Show it..
I will say with Kiffin maybe leaving that Mack may could seem more of a solid option
as an offensive system Coordinator in the recruiting pitch.

But the kid was ready to pull the trigger for us a while back. Hopefully both he and Devante are still solid.

Isaiah Buggs reached out to us to visit this weekend (according to TI). We may have a chance here. We'll know if we have a shot after this weekend.

Since Buggs seems to be high on the barn it would make sense to come see a great game and the team you like. I do not put much stock into a visit unless they are coming with family in tow and/or canceling a visit to their listed favorite to come see us play

Buggs was going to go to the Barn about as much as Ben Davis/Mack Wilson were going to go to UF or UGa before O was fired. Now, all bets are off.

Alabama QB pledge eyeing WR targets

As Alabama continues to roll on the field, Jacksonville, Florida, 4-star quarterback Mac Jones continues to keep an eye on talented players to join him when he puts on a Crimson Tide uniform next season.

Jones has watched Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts build a connection with wide receivers ArDarius Stewart and Calvin Ridley, and he's hoping to find receivers to do the same when it's his time to shine in Tuscaloosa.

There are a few guys on Jones' radar as a player-recruiter, and while 4-star commits like Jerry Jeudy and Tyrell Shavers are anticipated to be special playmakers, Jones said Henry Ruggs and Nico Collins are two 4-star receivers who would add more firepower to the nation's top-ranked 2017 class.

"Henry has that quick burst you want to see," said Jones, one of two Alabama quarterback commits, the other being 4-star Tua Tagovailoa. "He's physical enough to get off the press but quick enough to make that first cut. I've talked to guys who've seen him play, and they say he's always one of the fastest kids on the field.

"With Nico, he has everything you want in a receiver. He's big, he's strong and he's fast," Jones said. "I know he's got some interest in some other places, too, but he's a good receiver."

Alabama is considered a heavy favorite to land Ruggs. The Crimson Tide are in a recruiting battle with Michigan and Georgia for Collins. Per Chad Simmons of Scout.com, Michigan left a big impression on Collins two weeks ago.
