If none of my business just say so, but why Columbus to live? Doesn't strike me as a major comedy hub.
If you ever perform in Phoenix area, please post, would love to see you.

Tagovailoa thinks Harris is solid
HONOLULU — As I finish my weeklong stay on the beautiful island of Oahu, one thing crossed my mind that made me start convulsing. I hadn’t been asked a question on if I think 5-star running back Najee Harris will stay committed! So, I asked one of his good friends, 5-star quarterback and Alabama commit Tua Tagovailoa.
Although Tagovailoa lives a few thousand miles away from all of the other commitments in the class, he still keeps in touch with them. The guys he named that he stays in touch with are 5-star offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood, 5-star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, 4-star linebackers Markail Benton and VanDarius Cowan, plus Harris.
Tagovailoa and Harris became very close when they spent a week in Oregon this summer for Nike’s elite recruiting camp, The Opening. Tagovailoa, who’s very religious, started a Bible study group during the week before winning the Elite 11 MVP trophy, and Harris was a part of it.
The two still talk about the latest with where things stand in their recruitment, and Tagovailoa isn’t worried about the possibility of losing his friend to another school. There was no hesitation when I asked Tagovailoa if he thinks Harris still is solid with Alabama.
“I think Najee is,” Tagovailoa said. “We still keep in contact. There’s really nothing that’s swaying him away. I had seen an article that said he was revisiting Michigan, but I don’t think it’s anything serious. We all stay in contact. Najee still says he’s fully committed. There’s nothing that he said that would sway him to go elsewhere.”
Even when the recorder was off and we were just talking, Tagovailoa maintained that he truly believes there’s nothing to worry about when it comes to Harris’ commitment. That coincides with the reporting I did during my recent trip to Harris’ hometown of Antioch, Calif.
Harris is expected to return to Tuscaloosa this weekend for the Iron Bowl, which is an official visit. He’s also expected to be in Michigan in December, which may possibly be his last visit before making a final decision. The Wolverines remain the biggest competition for the Crimson Tide, but Harris has a couple of key people close to him in his ear about their thoughts on Alabama.
I would be surprised if Harris wasn’t in Alabama’s backfield come 2017.

Tagovailoa’s championship victory
I had a chance to watch Tagovailoa’s final game under center for the Saint Louis Crusaders. He will leave the state as the all-time leader in passing yards, a feat that was held by Timmy Chang, the NCAA’s No. 2 leader in passing yards. He also leaves as a state champion.
Tagovailoa threw for 243 yards on 16-of-25 passing attempts and a touchdown and also rushed for 136 yards with another score on 18 carries Saturday night against Kahuku, the top team in the state entering the game and No. 19 in USA Today’s Super 25 poll.
The most impressive thing to me about Tagovailoa’s performance was his ability to escape pressure with ease. Kahuku’s defense was in Tagovailoa’s face all game as the Saint Louis offensive line was no match for the quick Red Raiders line. Despite that, he was only sacked once.
He also delivered a monumental 4th-and-1 carry midway through the fourth quarter that turned out to be a crushing blow to Kahuku’s confidence. On their own 29-yard line, Tagovailoa optioned out of the Crusaders’ original play, which was supposed to be a generic quarterback sneak from under center. The 5-star recruit, instead, started in shotgun and quickly rushed up behind the center to get the ball. By doing that, Tagovailoa was able to see where the defense was supposed to crash to the ball. He executed the call perfectly by bouncing to the left side, picking up 28 yards.
A few plays later, Tagovailoa scored the game-sealing touchdown. Check out the highlights of both plays here.
Tagovailoa didn’t throw the ball deep too often, but he connected on two beautiful passes that hit his receivers in stride. One of those passes was a 52-yard touchdown.
I really think Tagovailoa can come in next season and give Jalen Hurts a run for his money. Hurts has shown that he still needs some development in the passing game. Tagovailoa is a complete quarterback. He doesn’t just rely on his legs to make plays.

LSU’s recruiting situation is about to get wild
With Florida’s fourth-down goal-line stand against LSU this past weekend giving the Gators a win and their second-straight SEC East championship, Ed Orgeron has hit a significant bump in earning the Tigers’ coaching gig on a permanent basis. LSU was a two-touchdown favorite against Florida this past weekend, but it didn’t even find the end zone twice. The Tigers’ offense looked very similar to Les Miles’.
It wasn’t a given that even if LSU won its remaining games after the Alabama loss that Orgeron would be given the job. The loss against Florida, in my opinion, should erase any belief that he’ll be the head coach of LSU next season. Under Orgeron, LSU’s best win has been against Ole Miss — a school that was spanked by Vanderbilt this past weekend. Orgeron has simply done nothing to show that he’s the right man for the head coaching job.
That would obviously lead to recruiting ramifications, especially if Orgeron doesn’t stay at LSU in some capacity.
There will also be other assistant coaching changes if a new head coach is brought in, which, again, will lead to a big recruiting impact. New head coaches don’t keep every assistant on staff and some choose to look for other opportunities on their own.
Depending on who the next coach will be, there will be a feasting ground on LSU’s commitment list and its targets. At the top of the Tigers’ commitment list are two guys the Crimson Tide have interest in: 5-star safety JaCoby Stevens and 4-star defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin. Alabama finished No. 2 when both recruits committed.
Stevens has maintained that he’ll be at LSU in 2017 as long as defensive backs coach Corey Raymond is there. He’s also close with director of player personnel Austin Thomas, but Raymond is more important here as he’ll actually be the one coaching him. If Raymond isn’t at LSU next season, Alabama will be in tremendous position to land his commitment. He is expected to take an official visit to Alabama in the next few weeks.
Shelvin has also said that if Orgeron is at LSU next season, that’s who he’ll be playing for. Will Orgeron be retained by the new coach and would he be satisfied to just go back to being the defensive line coach? Again, those are questions that have unknown answers right now. Defensive line is a huge need for Alabama, and Shelvin would be a big addition for the Tide. He’s expected to be in Tuscaloosa this weekend for the Iron Bowl.
Kelvin Joseph, a 2018 5-star cornerback, would likely start looking around, too. There was significant buzz around him this summer for Alabama as it appeared the Tide were going to get a flip after multiple visits to Tuscaloosa.
Justin Thomas, a 3-star defensive end from Spanish Fort, Ala., is another name to watch if Alabama misses on some of its other defensive line targets.
If Jimbo Fisher leaves Florida State for LSU, we could also see 5-star Seminoles cornerback commit Stanford Samuels make a change with his commitment. Alabama is his No. 2 school at the moment.
Uncommitted targets such as 4-star defensive end Isaiah Buggs, 4-star safety Todd Harris and 4-star linebacker Christopher Allen will be extremely affected by a coaching change, too. Buggs isn’t a legitimate target for Alabama until he visits Tuscaloosa, but if he does, the Tide could get in the mix. Harris appears to have been passed on the big board at safety by Florida State safety commit Daniel Wright. Allen is favoring Alabama behind the scenes as LSU sorts out its coaching situation.
Whatever happens over these next few months leading up to signing day is going to be wild, and Alabama is going to sit back and reap the rewards.

HONOLULU — Tua Tagovailoa will enter the University of Alabama as a champion.
The 5-star quarterback commit from Saint Louis High School willed the Crusaders to a 30-14 win in the state championship game Saturday night against Kahuku, the No. 1 team in the state, at Aloha Stadium.
Tagovailoa threw for 243 yards on 16-of-25 passing attempts and a touchdown and also rushed for 136 yards with another score on 18 carries. With his effort, Saint Louis won its first state championship since 2010 and snapped Kahuku’s 24-game win streak against Hawaiian opponents.
The nation’s No. 1 dual-threat quarterback also became Hawaii’s career leader in passing yards, as he eclipsed former Saint Louis quarterback Timmy Chang’s record of 8,001 yards. He leaves Hawaii with 8,158 passing yards and 84 touchdowns along with 1,727 rushing yards and 27 scores to give him 111 career touchdowns.
Check out the highlights of Tagovailoa’s performance and of the celebration after the game.

Well Browning is from Texas but your point still stands
If it's 35/40 during the game with minimal wind that's not too bad

I think a lot of the CBs for Browning this week are the "follow the leader" variety (not saying Browning won't end up at Bama at all). This happens often as you guys probably know when a guy like Wiltfong puts in a CB everyone follows him with the same one. These guys probably have no fing idea what is going on and saw the momentum and jumped on the pile worse than that one UF guy did in the LSU game Saturday
As I posted on the last page, OSU insiders still feel ok.

It's the Iron Bowl, so it means a monster recruiting weekend for Alabama since the game is in Tuscaloosa.
The star-studded list of prospects for Saturday's game should rival that of 2014, the last time the game was in Tuscaloosa.
Here's a quick look-ahead, and obviously this is nowhere close to a final list. Names will be added, dropped and analyzed again later this week.
Official visitors include plenty of five-stars, including Alabama OL commit Alex Leatherwood of Pensacola, Fla., Alabama RB commit Najee Harris of Antioch (per Scout), Calif., Los Angeles receiver Joseph Lewis (CampusInsiders), possibly Graham, Wash., OL Foster Sarell, Brooklyn, N.Y., OL Isaiah Wilson and Ohio State DB commit Shaun Wade.
Recent Alabama commit Jedrick Wills will officially visit as well.
Four-star recruits Tariq Castro-Fields, a DB from Marlboro, Md., Anthony McFarland Jr., a running back from Maryland and Elliot Baker, an Alabama commit from City College of San Francisco, are scheduled to visit Alabama this weekend. McFarland mentioned this weekend as an official visit back in July.
Five-star Alabama LB commit Dylan Moses will return. In-state top prospects LaBryan Ray of James Clemens and Lee-Montgomery's Henry Ruggs III will be on unofficial visits along with potentially Clay-Chalkville's Nico Collins and Jackson-Olin's T.D. Moultry (Auburn commit). Auburn is battling with Alabama and three other schools for Ruggs, while Ray isn't looking at Auburn anymore.
