I'm not going to view everything with Crimson glasses, after all I did survive the Shula years. Alabama does need to course correct on some things. But hearing the news that both Young and Anderson are playing in the bowl game suggests the Culture of Alabama football has not only remained intact but might be better than most. After all Young and Anderson are possibly both top 5 picks and they both chose to play for their teammates and for Bama in a game that doesn't amount to much more than pride.

Greg McElroy has been saying for weeks that he thought they would both play. GMAC said, that is just the culture in Tuscaloosa. Williams tore his ACL last year in the playoffs. He still went first round, and last week they clocked him on a TD pass and said he was the fastest receiver in the league.
