Is this when this thread gets some action? Who’s cooler than who? It’s ok mods, less than two weeks from the season and it’s dead in here except for the scrimmage thread.

I'll try to throw in some football.

WR depth - True two deep in 2017 with Ridley, Sims, Foster, Jeudy, Ruggs and Smith. Last two years it's been starters and not much else.
Last year, I thought Metchie and Williams were casualties of mileage. I'm not a doctor though.
I realize there's only so much practice time making it difficult to get game plan reps for everybody. There is a case for having 3 main guys (continuity and chemistry in the pass game) and a case for a two deep rotation (experience down the depth chart, fresh legs in November).

Do you roll with your main guys and bet on health or spread load the reps at the risk of the offense coming along a little slower? **Assuming the top 6 are Burton, Harrell, Brooks, Holden, Leary and Prentice

Cohen has had some things going on that matter more than football. He’s a talented guy but ultimately his mental well-being is the primary concern. Troubling is not the word I’d use.

What It's Like Being the Last Remaining Member of Alabama's Legendary 2017 Signing Class (SI)

The Crimson Tide's veteran offensive lineman takes the grandpa jokes in stride as he looks to bring home a third national championship.

Practice highlights 08-24-22

Will Anderson looks like a general out there during an indoor practice. Truly lucky to have this guy leading the defense.

Jaheim Oatis is lightning quick for someone that size. 50 and 47 look like they play with some violence as well. I’m excited about the DL this year; I think they will surprise a lot of people and cause major disruption in the backfield.

All of these talking heads just say shite.

Watching SEC Now tonight and Matt Stinchcomb was talking about Charles Cross (MSU OT) being one of the hardest guys to replace in the league this year after he went pro. “He was one guy who did a great job last year against Will Anderson.”

I’m thinking that doesn’t sound correct. I go check the game log and sure enough, 31 had his biggest sack game - 4 - against Cross and MSU.

Anderson did all his damage against the RT, Scott Lashley. Bama rarely lined Anderson up on Cross.

You could literally replace 99% of them with an average fan and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

We've had 15 years of experience reading Saban's public language re: teams in fall camp. I fail to remember one that he was this matter of fact about. Has he complained about a single 1st team thing yet other than the WR drops the 1st scrimmage? That's some top level stuff.

This team is going to light people up.
