Miami- 1/6 94 yards
Mercer- 0/5 for o yards
Florida 1/3 for 26 yards
USM 2/4 for 50 yards
Ole Miss 2/4 for 50 yards
TAMU 1/5 for 29 yards
Miss St 0/1 for 0 yards
Tenn 3/5 for 119

Are these 20+ yards down the field or what?

On that note, what percentage of these belonged to Jameson? Off the top of my head

-The 94+ yarder against Miami

-The deep ball against UGA

-At least 2 against Arkansas

-The one against A&M

-1 against Southern Miss

-I think 2 versus Tennessee

-1 against LSU

Other than Brooks against Auburn and Cincy, I don’t remember many bombs being caught by anyone else

Nothing will ever be more automatic than Mac Jones throwing deep to Devonta. If Kiffin would have still been on the sideline for that combo his arms would have got tired from being held up all night. Everyone knew it was coming and nobody could stop it.

Young was improving in that area But still not consistent.

Young wasn't the problem- it was all the drops by the WR corp. Some of the misses were timing related thanks to the worst OL of the Saban era.

Powhound,

Young was also responsible for making the calls at the LOS as well. Some of adjustments he made was questionable at times.

Bryce played remarkable and beyond his years , mac and tua wouldnt have lasted the season behind that OL. Bryce had to play at a high level almost every week.. would have been a 4 loss team , maybe even 5 if not for him. So its really nitpicking to be too critical of a qb who won the heisman, sec player of the year, the maxwell and O Brien awards , as well as being first team AA.

With Milroe or Tyson, probably so, and would have been a totally different look on offense. Jalen Hurts at qb would have been probably 3 losses.

Young improved as the year progressed, which should have been expected for a sophomore in his first year starting.

The guy wasn't only the Heisman winner, but first team on about every legitimate All American team.

Hard to really say. I know that Cole Cublic said Mac made our offensive tackles better than they sometimes were because he read the play so quickly and got rid of the ball before anyone could get close to him. Mac had a binder on every team, even the bad ones, that he studied and even had his girl friend drill him on the play book during the game week.

You know, there's at least two ways that sentence could be read.

Not saying arrests are good but our defenses were better when we had arrests lol… Wouldn’t mind a nice bar fight with a linebacker and a couple dlinemen involved.

Brandon Deaderick and Raekwon Davis both recorded a sack after they were shot a few days before the season opener
