Sanders is a pretty big back. I dont think McClellan is a shifty back either. I think we have a lot of one cut guys that have the ability to make guys miss but to call any of them shifty is a stretch.

Not really. He’s 6’0 214. That’s similar in size to Williams and Jase. Now Robinson is a bigger guy at 5’11 228 which is a little smaller compared to Najee’s 6’2 230.

How is Sanders a bruiser lmfao
Bc his running style is similar to his HS coach, Cadillac Williams. He's a between the tackles runner.
And if anybody doesn't think McClellan is shifty, go watch his HS highlights.

McClellan is deceptive. His speed and cutting ability is sneaky good. He has patience but can finish runs violently. Roydell Williams is also a violent runner.

Barry Sanders is shifty...smaller backs are shifty. We just dont have those types imo.

Saban's contract just got extended, with a raise:

The new agreement will extend his current contract by three seasons to eight years and keep him in charge of the Crimson Tide football program through at least February 28, 2029. The base salary and talent fee of $8.425 million for the current contract year will increase annually throughout the length of the contract. There will also be a contract completion benefit of $800,000 payable at the end of the 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 contract years.
"Terry and I are pleased and happy to sign another contract extension that will keep us in Tuscaloosa through the end of our career," Saban said. "Our family calls Tuscaloosa and the state of Alabama home, it's a place where our roots now run deep. This agreement gives us the chance to continue to impact the lives of the young men and their families who choose to play football and get an education at Alabama. We want to thank the Board of Trustees, Chancellor St. John, President Bell, Director of Athletics Greg Byrne, our athletics administration, the football staff and the whole University community for their support."

Lots of people speculating that the bonuses ending after 2025 signify a proposed retirement date. Not sure if I agree with that though. Saban won't pull a Spurrier and just quit mid-season, but I don't see him giving himself a retirement date years in advance either. He will walk away when he's ready to and not a moment sooner or later.

Agreed. His contract seems to be amended every couple of years, so I don't think it's odd that the completion bonuses end after 2025. I imagine the contract will be amended again at least once in the next four years, so any extension/modification of the completion bonuses will be made at that time.

Alabama currently has a losing record against BC (1-3). If Bama wins both games, we will tie it up.
