Anderson Jr., Neal, Jobe Selected to 2021 Walter Camp Preseason All-America Team

Three Alabama football players were named to the 2021 Walter Camp Preseason All-America Team, the Walter Camp Football Foundation announced on Thursday.

Offensive lineman Evan Neal earned first-team honors, joining Will Anderson Jr. who was named to the defensive first team as a linebacker. Josh Jobe rounded out the group, being tabbed to the outlet's second team as a defensive back. The three players are among 50 total student-athletes named to the Walter Camp Preseason All-America Team, which is comprised of 25 players apiece on the first and second teams.

Textbooks anyone?

I would like some victories re-instated and would appreciate an apology from NCAA please (this is sarcasm, there is no way either of those things are going to happen)

-- 1st-WRs Metchie, Bolden & Baker, (former osu Williams & New comer Earle continue to impress (these other two are definitely going to be in the mix come fall).

-- To'o To'o, has rotated with Harris and Moody. seems the competition will continue to be between To'o To'o and Moody. good things continue to be said about Lawson's bright future.

-- Young has gotten all 1st-team reps at qb, while Tyson has gotten all 2nd-team reps.

-- DBs Hellams looking like a breakout star this season (seems primed to lock down a permanent 1st-team spot. Hellams & Battle have been the 1st-team safeties while Moore is back at Star with 1s after missing the spring. Jobe & Armour-Davis have been the 1s at cb, with Kool-Aid right behind them.

I really like Ekiyor as a guard. Reminds me of Chance Warmack. He's a true guard, not a tackle masquerading at guard. He pulls around well and finishes blocks. Him and Brown last year was as good a pair of guards as we've had, and teaming with Landon at center, well damn.

I have a good feeling about Cohen at guard. He looks like a true guard as well. Hopefully Owens plays well at center.

So Dre Kirkpatrick’s son is old enough to be taking official visits to Alabama.
