Absolutely agree. The lack of effort not knowing basic fundamentals is very disconcerting. The leaders and coaches on that side of the ball need to get it together now.

I thought so, but I also felt once I ran into having to provide cable provider info once. Here's hoping it is now painless, free streaming.

Need help here guys... not gonna be tv accessible saturday evening. What sort of steps do I have to take to watch this via CBS or other streams that aren't terribly delayed. Thanks in advance!

Cracked streams. Just Google it on Gameday. I never have issues watching Saints games on it.

CBS Sports app has always worked for me in the past on my phone. No cost.

Puffer. It streams CBS for free from a California university. Works like a charm. Used it for the Aggie game.

I have no idea what will happen on Saturday, but someone on Reddit pointed out that the last time the #1 ranked offense in SP+ faced the #1 ranked defense in SP+ was last year's SECCG, and that turned out pretty well for the #1 ranked offense.

Also of note, Bama's defense is #22 in SP+, but UGA's offense is #42.

That’s what I use... But they still run the hell out of commercials on it. CBS is the worst, if they think they can get a commercial in on a first down measurement you can bet they’ll do it.

Who is Battle's actual backup? Ourlads.com (no idea how legit that site is) says it's Eddie Smith. Do we think he's going to play the first half in place of Battle, or do we think it'll be some combo if Wright, Hellams, and Branch at the safety spots?

I think Hellams is first in line at either safety spot. Hellams got clearly beat on one play last week but otherwise he didn't seem as poor as Wright. He was at least flying around and trying to hit somebody. The question to me is whether we continue to play Wright, who's been the most atrocious player on D this year (though Moses is giving him a run for his money with his pitiful effort level). It doesn't seem like Eddie Smith is ever going to be that guy. He's a vet, and if he was playing at all decent we would have heard about him over Wright by now. So far it seems like Branch is the next guy in if we take Wright out. We know Branch got some reps with the 1s in Wright's spot last week. One possibility we may could see is putting Branch at Star and putting Moore on the backend.

CAllen was player of the week on defense? Thought he had a pretty awful game so many times he just ran by the play or missed the tackle.
But coaches know best.

TOL on sec network is terrible this year. UGA grad Brandon Boykin said we should’ve lost to ole miss and his reasoning was ole miss would’ve won if they got some stops. What? Look we looked bad on defense. That’s fair but by that logic we would’ve been dominant on defense if we just stopped them every drive. Man was a clueless take. And of course he’s already telling Alabama to accept they’re not that good this year. Real objective fella

You’re not going to want to hear this. We are far from good defensively this year. I would say a better word would be putrid. This team is average at best because of the middle school defense. Is what it is.

Let's not freak out over one game. Everynow and then a offense will light up Bama's defense.

Ole Miss and Arkansas lit up that great Bama defense in 16. Ole Miss scored 43 and Arkansas scored 31.

Ole Miss and Clemson lit up that great Bama defense in 15. Ole Miss scored 43 and Clemson scored 40.

Even the 2011 Bama defense got lit up by Georgia Southern.

Monday defense update after practice, replacing Battle...

The truth… With Battle out first half, coaches are looking at two options so far.

First option 2 Surtain and 28 Jobe corner, 3 Wright and 29 Hellam safeties, 13 Moore star.

Second option 2 Surtain and 28 Jobe corner, 13 Moore and 29 Hellams safeties , 14 Branch star.

Team is focused!!
