Brian Branch in for Hellams in dime please. A&M’s 300 TE was putting moves on his arse

Rather keep Hellams at dime and let Branch be the free safety. Hellams and Wright both are talented and have made mistakes, but Hellams at least is not missing tackles. Not ready to throw him to the bench after one game, especially with him being a younger guy, so game reps are vital to his learning curve.

So you’re saying move branch to safety? Ok so you’re benching Wright? You’d rather bench Wright than hellams? Otherwise how are you going to get branch on the field without benching someone?

I thought Hellems looked a little flat footed in his first major action.
But that is no different than wright looking lost last yr in his first major action.
I do think if branch has the same burst/quick change of direction that 13 has.
I would rather that right now over Hellems. Even though I will say that Hellams does bring serious impact as for tackling and again,
I think he just needs more reps.
But the quickness of 13 and branch is what would be more affected vs Ole miss. As it seems that Corall has a slower release and
plumley at WR (quickness) would be equalize more with both nickle and dime backs having that change of direction speed.
Also the fact that 13 and 3 will also hit you is a plus and not a lost for not playing Hellems more.

So if it was close between branch and Moore I am not shocked that branch would get elevated based on opponent.
I would really hope that's the case because I think its something that Nicks process may want to adjust more too.
We don't seem to make in game sub based on how kids are playing.

I think Kiffin would have selected to move time back anyway because he wants wide open offense rather than a weather trench,
ground battle. If it come to that then we may see Hellems more anyway.
But this defense is quicker than last yr's but also seems more physical as well.

Note: I will keep saying it !.
31,92,58,18, 48 best combo unit up front.

If we ran a 4-3, sure. But those 4 DL in the game in even our base defense would require a 300 lbs dude to play Sam LB

I meant any combo of (92,58,18)on the D_Line with 48 as the first alternate and always keeping 31 on the field.
Who will play both up and some downs with his hand on the ground.
That's having 58 start for Payne based on opponent and sliding him to DE when 92 needs a break with 48 playing inside.

Any word on whether we're going to increase stadium capacity as the season goes on?

UGA had a big crowd last week and A&M's crowd looks pretty damn big.

Alabama and Georgia had almost identical attendance last week.

I don't care what the reported numbers were. If you looked at their stands and looked at ours, it was clear that they had a lot more in the stands than they actually reported.

I really despise the way BOL's website loads stuff on mobile. Every ad starts a new page, so if you don't open it in a new tab and just close it, you have to hit the back button 7500 times to get off their website.
