If Ty doesn’t start this season, he never will. The QB coming in next year is legit.
If Tua, Bryce and Mac all needed a year to acclimate put me down as skeptical that Sayins starts week 1 freshman year.

Jalen Hurts wasn’t week 1 as a freshman, but he was pretty close after that. Although I think that was Lane’s choice as Saban isn’t fond of freshman QBs.

Tua, Bryce and Mac would’ve all started if an NFL starting QB wasn’t in front of them. Sayin is legit. If he’s as ready as Tua and Bryce and Ty isn’t at the same level as Mac was in his 3rd year Sayin will likely be a 3 year starter at Bama. Milroe is one and some. After he wins the Heisman he’ll head to the NFL. He’ll be the first or 2nd QB taken in this years draft. I’m predicting 1st overall. He’s as fast as Vick.

The haters need to go back and watch his highlights and see how great his running lane vision is. He’s as fast as Jamo at Derrick Henry size with a big arm. Dude is going to be dangerous.

Disagree on Mac and Bryce. Mac had to develop, he was a long way away from what we saw in 2020 when he arrived in 2017.
Bryce had to add strength to play.

You can disagree all you want but the op post I responded to made it seem like those guys just were not ready and that’s the only reason. Bryce didn’t add any size from HS based on his combine size and he looked like a stud every time he got in. Tua was an idiotic example to attempt to use. I love Jalen but Tua should’ve probably started day one and definitely should’ve started against Auburn.

Adding strength doesn't necessarily equate to adding weight, but Bryce clearly added 20+ pounds at UA. He also certainly did not look like a stud in mop up duty as a freshman, though I'd bet that had a lot more to do with the OL.
Tua should have started against Auburn for sure, I agree. Hindsight is 20/20 saying he should have got the whole year over a 2nd year player who just won SEC player of the year.

Wait! You think that Jalen Milroe is going to win the Heisman? This year? And be the 2nd qb taken? This year?

Yes and yes.
He had sub 4.4 speed at 6’2” 230+ lbs. He’s has a very strong arm. He’s Bama vs of Mike Vick.

I do think he can be really good. He just needs to play and be loose. Don’t play outside of himself and run like hell when given the chance.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This is hilarious. He isn’t in the same universe as Mike Vick.

This isn’t NCAA 2014 or Madden.

I mean, I would love for all of this to be true but don't you think someone who is primed for a Heisman run would have already been named the starter? If he is that good this year, and I hope you are right, that would be the biggest jump I have ever seen from the limited action we saw him in last year! And, I know he has the physical ability with his legs, I'm talking more about reading defenses, making protection checks and getting the ball out on time with accuracy. I hope you are right and I am pulling for him like we all are.

Regardless of who's quarterback, one weekend left to wrap up any chores, home projects, miscellaneous honey do list items, visits to her boring friends...etc. Stay focused. Don't make the mistake of letting anything drag into the season.

Literally nothing he has done in games or in practice has shown that will happen. It’s wishful thinking.

Good troll. Balances out the doom and gloom trolls.

Heisman no, but if he has a decent enough season I could certainly see him being drafted much earlier than he should be. I mean look at Anthony Richardson. He wasn't even decent in college but got drafted 4th overall purely on physical attributes.
