I want Pruitt as DC. I loved our defenses under him. They played hard and aggressive. Probably won’t happen because of the NCAA issues, unfortunately. Any good college OC would be an improvement over BoB. As someone else mentioned, no NFL guys!

So I guess by end of the year you mean after the bowl game?

Tbh I wouldn't mind them being fired after the IB.

I would think the new hires need to be made before early signing day unless they want to lock folks up then make the change.

Since we're assuming things here, I assume you mean after a bottle of champagne.

As far as I can gather none of us know what's going on with Pruitt's situation. The last that came out in the media is Tennessee asked for an extension to answer the NCAA's questions. What we do know is Pruitt has sued Tennessee to recover his buyout and that Pruitt has not received a show cause from the NCAA at this point. I don't think it's a slam dunk that Pruitt will receive a show cause because if he really did all that Tennessee said he did why would they need an extension to present that evidence? In January it will be a full two years since Pruitt was fired at Tennessee.

Neil Brown may be in trouble at WVa. I wouldn’t mind seeing him on staff in some role.

Been thinking no way for awhile now Sankey or the higher ups at Bama allow Pruitt but I’ve convinced myself Saban will tell them to eff off it’s my team and dare them to do something.

OC- Nobody from the NFL or Belichick coaching tree.

There is no show cause on Pruitt at this time. None.

So was Hugh Freeze when we wanted to bring him onto the staff. The conference stepped in and said no.

Since TN filed and signed papers with the NCAA that said their head coach and his wife (Pruitt) were cheating, how can they not hammer him? Obviously they did it to get out of paying him his buy out. It could be that the ncaa hammers TN too, for LOIC, but Im sure TN figured they could bury Pruit and save some money at the same time, and just get a slap on the wrist for turning in their coach. Hopefully the ncaa at least fines TN as much as they will save by firing him with cause. I cant imagine anyone in the SEC hiring Pruitt under these circumstances.

Technically yes and before I get downvoted, I want him as Bama’s DC but unfortunately there’s a lot of “grey area” stuff that we as fans don’t care about but Sankey and higher ups at Alabama do.

Whoever Saban hires works for me. He is the expert. Lots of our fanbase hated on all of our past coordinators. Hell, I used to bitch about Mail Moore too. Lol.

Last 2 hires, Golding and BoB, have been terrible.

In fairness, Mal hired Franchione, Mike Price, and Mike Shula. He is the reason we got Saban but he had some big misses before him.
