I give the offense a very solid A.

I thought it was great. Called a perfect game honestly.

No more Tua runs and we need to go deep every first down. I’m only halfway joking.

Very impressed. Even the things that didn’t work on the Jalen drives were down to lack of execution, but the plays were there to be made. Still need to see him against a stouter defense, but this game he was excellent.

He is a legit dual threat so when he sees a hole open and receivers covered he is taking off. He was untouched on the designed run that scored a touchdown. I say let the kid run. We have an experienced backup and I think we can win with Mac Jones too.

Hard to really judge in game play calling when you outclass an opponent so thoroughly. Didn't show anything concerning which is the real takeaway

In terms of game prep, having the offense ready to go and having a plan for rotations, Locksley + staff was on point.

I question some of the defensive play calls. Mainly one where we blitzed both safties on third and goal i believe. It was their first TD. I could be wrong on that tho. At keast thats what it looked like.

With a great quarterback everything seems to work, especially with so many great players around him. We can pick our poison boys. Keep him upright and healthy and it's going to be a fun year.

I loved it. I'd like to see some jet sweeps for Waddle because he's electric, but I really love the no bullshite, come right at em approach.

Thought it was good. Seemed relatively balanced.

If and when they use Jalen, they need to call plays that fit his specific skill set more, rather than calling the same plays that they do for Tua.

I’ll wait until we see against a solid defense because Bama could have done anything they wanted last night.

We actually put the QB under center. Need a lot more of that.

I dont like any of the QB run shite.

Having the ability to run is great when avoiding a sack, but other than that stand in the pocket, and get the ball to the skill guys.

He's eventually going to get Tua blown up with one of those QB runs, and its completely unnecessary.

Tua can carve a defense with his arm. I'd make him run 110's in practice for every time he failed to slide in a game.

Thought he called a great game but a few times I felt they needed to check out of a play and didn't

Does Tua not have the liberty to do so?

Tua is going to take off and run on his own when he's pressured, therefore, he's going to take some hits. Having said that, I don't know how many designed QB sweeps and draws I want to see called inviting the defense to tee off on him. He's not Jalen and he's not built like Jalen and there's not another Tua on the bench. Let's not invite trouble. We can't protect him completely from contact, but let's don't go looking for it. Especially with our recent history with the injury bug. Other than that, I thought Locks called a great game.

So far, I like it better than Kiffin's playcalling but it's one game. Who the hell knows.
