You're right, we don't need more teams in. The media LOOOOOOOOOOVES the movie "Hoosiers" and the concept of some team from nowhere that no one has heard of coming out of nowhere and winning it all. Honestly, "Hoosiers" is one of my favorite movies of all time but let's be honest, it's not very realistic these days, particularly applicable to CFB.

The only other people who want to see expansion are schools like Boise State, North Dakota State, Appalachian State, etc. Schools that have no business being there but they want/need the TV exposure and the money involved. Nevermind the fact they're going to get spanked on national TV.

TERRIBLE idea.

we dont need more teams, we need 2 separate divisions, the big boys and the not so big boys. they each have their own 12 team playoff. but that would be to logical.

I've been expecting the playoffs to expand to 16 teams as soon I heard they were expanding it to 12. Because I was only expecting it to become 8, and you know they'd love to add a couple extra games. And now that teams with byes have been losing, it'll probably expand the first opportunity the contracts allow it.

Worst poster on this entire website. The guy have 60+ teams with each player making 1 million and could transfer midseason if it were up to him.

I watched an interview with Pete Golding and he was all for it. He said when the regular season was over go staight into the playoffs and play to new years. Then the transfer portal through January and signing day back to February.

with that scenario the backup players would be even more important. the backups would be winning championships
