Alternate uniform for the Iron Bowl

Not saying it isn't sharp just doesn't look like Bama. It's like I look at it and something seems wrong.

I think I am the only fan in existence that wants this but if we ever do an alternate jersey I want Elephant Grey/Crimson.

Those look so clean. But almost too clean.

Off-topic: I us to go back to an official logo with an elephant. Either the older elephant stepping through the A or the early 2000’s one.

Not gonna lie I like it. I'd love to do a solid red uniform/red helmet and white uniform with white helmet as special uniform combo

The elephant is one of the most unique mascots in sports. It's a real shame how little they use it in favor of a logo that is almost identical to the Atlanta Braves (although, it must be said, Alabama had that logo while the Braves were still in Milwaukee). I would love to see Bama do a modernized version of the elephant stepping through the A. Could maybe combine the Saban and Bryant era looks by having an elephant stepping through a script A.

I am 1000% on board for those against Vanderbilt or Austin Peay

I regard alternate uniforms as when a team goes outside their tradition just as a stunt. Like the Vols. I don't like them.

I don't look at white helmets as being "alternate " because they very much are part of our historical tradition. We wore white helmets in two of the landmark games in our history...with red jerseys vs. USC in Birmingham in 1970, and with white jerseys vs. USC in Los Angeles in 1971. I'd like to see us wear them again maybe once a year at home and on the road.

And I may be in the minority here, but I don't like Big Al one bit. Too much like a kid's stuffed toy come to life. Almost cuddly. Aubie, in contrast, is edgy. He has attitude. The whole demeanor. And not just him. The Oregon duck, the Miami ibis...all much better. If we're gonna have a guy running around in an elephant suit, the whole suit needs to be overhauled and the person inside needs to play the role with a lot more of an edge.
