I think this is another game where Alabama doesn't dominate from start to finish but instead wears down the opponent. I'm bit concerned that MSU's aggressive nature on defense will stymie the run game enough that Alabama won't wear them out quite as early as against Ole Miss.
I suspect Mississippi State's offensive struggles will break their defense in the end though. Conversely, the best aspects of Milroe's game thus far are the deep pass and the scramble. If he can escape initial pressure, I suspect each aspect will have an opportunity to shine.
I see another big game for Dallas Turner. The only other comparable front they've played (LSU) harassed Will Rogers all day. MSU had a good night v. South Carolina but SCAR is one of the worst defenses in the SEC.
I'm going to split the difference between my best-case and worst-case scenarios and go with a 14 point win on the road. This ain't the year where Alabama will win the game by simply arriving to the stadium...going to be a lot of contested games this year and my hunch is the average-case outcome is something similar to what we saw last week. Comfortable looking final score that was kinda clawed for tooth and nail.
