Anyone familiar with Isabella High School in Chilton County? They are our first round opponent this friday. Can't really find out much at all about them.

Score would rival that of Michigan State and Notre Dame when they faced Bama.

Wilder would have some good stats on his own if he wasn't in a time share. Their 3rd RB, Karlos Williams called out Saban back in his recruitment year. I forget what he said, but he was a safety prospect then.

FSU has talent out the ears, but they still have some flaws.

BTW I WANT BRIAN WALLACE! Dude is incredible! His awareness is elite, and no one can force him back!

Wallace will end up being a better LT than Can IMO.

Kid is legit. He may need a redshirt year but he's gonna be good.

Yeah I remember Karlos and HaHa were battling it out for top Safety prospect in FL that year. IIRC Karlos said something to the effect that he would make CNS regret not recruiting him harder which is stupid because he made no secret of the fact early on that he was FSU-bound to play with his brother.

Interesting. I don't personally see it, but the kid is definitely legit.

He's playing MO talent, but he's dominating them as expected. He could take a redshirt here and have 2 years assuming Robinson leave early. He looks angry too

That was it, they wouldn't stop talking about it on the UA AA game that year. Many thought he'd grow into a LB, not a RB Though usually if you can play safety, you can play RB to a certain level. Both have good athletes that excel in open area.

Which has been a weird thing I've noticed since Saban has been here probably happened before that. There was a guy who played from one of the Paycheck games last year who was from Alabama who made/or the announcers made a big deal about his comments Alabama would regret not recruiting him. I went and looked him up (as much as we all follow recruiting the fact his name didn't immediately ring a bell was something) but he was like a 2 star guy from the 2008 class he just happened to play high school ball with one of the guys in the 2008 class we actually signed. The only google searches that included him and Bama were articles talking about his comments ironically. I think the "not getting the Bama offer" is a self motivation tactic for 2nd tier football players in this state. You listen to a UAB/JSU/UNA or any of the HBCU's radio broadcasts "Good enough to play at Alabama" is often through out there describing a particular athlete or so by the guys on the radio. Pretty sure if Jonathan Ford does anything positive for Auburn the next few years he will be the next one that comes out about because of how his recruitment shot out of nowhere. Granted he wasn't even the best back in 3A Region 7 last year I don't know what people saw in him to make the jump like he did.

Anyone noticed the AHSAA messed with the playoff format this year? Are they trying to assure more northern teams make it deeper in the playoffs? It can't be a mileage issue trying to play closer teams. They normally matchup the regions with each Division having 4 North Areas and 4 South areas which they continued doing. It just seems that when they redid the Regions this last time they have 2A Region 7 (Fyffe, North Sand Mountain, Sand Rock, Gaston) matched up with a 2A Region from as far away as the greater Montgomery area in 2A Region 5 (Lanett, Montgomery County, Reeltown, Isabella) instead of a closer region. Looking at the map it seems they did go for decent mileage but its startling how much certain areas of the state have changed population relative to each other. At least how it is reflected in the changes of the population of school kids counted for athletic classification. Because for a long time (when I was playing until recently) it was rare to see teams move only for there to be lots of recent movement. So were there changes at some point relatively recently concerning Alabama school classification? Especially since taking the school I graduated from it seems the town hasn't significantly grown (though the school has some) but it has went from a middle size 2A to a big 3A in about 8 years.

Andrew Jackson from WKU? I believe he's from Bama.

Nice downhill backer, but his teammate Xavius Boyd is out producing him.

The best WR FSU has would be 3rd string in Baton Rouge.

You don't watch free shoes much do you. Kelvin Benjamin and Rashad Greene could start for anyone in the country.

You can't be serious. The WRs are good, but c'mon man...

Have you watched LSU??

Their starting wideouts are ridiculous. They weren't 5-stars for nothing.
