We're not getting Tabor or Brown.

Both are long shots. If we're losing Roberts, I don't get how we would add two to three safeties then add another corner if Marlon Humphries is coming.

We have depth at corner anyways.

Auburn was due to flip someone after the recent success we have had at their expense.

Yeah and we will this year, but those two are long shots. That's just the reality.

***2014 five star DE Myles Garrett has named A&M his leader, but has shown interest in Bama. Tough pull and Bama is behind, but BOL points to A'Shawn Robinson's recruitment as an example of how Bama might recruit Garrett.

How exactly did we recruit him? Because as far as I know that fricker just came out of nowhere (and thank god too )

I'm guessing that's what they're talking about. Hopping on late and trying to steal him

An article was posted on BOL an hour ago about the season Christian Miller is having. According to BOL through his 1st 3 games (officially playing in 9 quarters) he has 42.5 tackles, 4 sacks, and two blocked kicks

Last Friday's game he had 10 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 TFLs, a blocked PAT, and 1 PBU included in that was 1 whole defensive series where Miller was flagged (late hit on the QB) That made him mad apparently because he proceeded the next play to sack the QB, then record his PBU to force 4th down, then blocked the FG attempt

Here's his quote on it:

“I just got really frustrated and said, ‘that’s it.’ I had the sack, then the batted pass, and then the blocked field goal. I can’t even really explain it.”

Miller is a football player

Miller is a badass. Thought UGA would snag him but we should be alright at OLB

I hope that going after guys like Miller and Evans is an indication that the staff is changing its thought process on OLB recruiting. Pretty much every elite 3-4 OLB in the NFL was an undersized 4-3 DE in college. We need to go after these guys who are skinny and explosive, put some weight on them, and hope we get the next Clay Matthews or Aldon Smith. The bigger guys always grow into linemen.

I feel like this gets said every year!

Well...it has been a couple of weeks since we had an OL commit.

I agree Robot, we've been doing ok with converted DE's but still we need better speed on the edge.

I wonder how Saban leaving for Texas will affect this recruiting class.

It'll be ok. I've heard Gruden will be a great recruiter.

Bama was NEVER getting Hargreaves. Who else has Saban lost to Muschamp on defense? We haven't even competed with each other for that many recruits. Probably around 5 a year defensively. Florida's defense is pretty strong as well, buddy. It may be "second rate" to Bama's, but by the slimmest of margins.
