Boooo

I don't even know who that guy is. I can't believe we wouldn't just press harder on Casher and we'd settle for this. Besides I thought Viane was possibly moving to Center?

I think he's actually ok. There are commits in this class i'm less excited about.

If we're getting a Center I would hope we'd get the Alabama kid. Especially when he is the superior player.

Oh well..

Casher is solid to Auburn. I know we think we can flip any Auburn commit we want, especially one who grew up a Bama fan, but I don't think that's going to happen with Casher and I think our staff knows that.

Agree. I think they're pretty close to even, and with all things being even you go with the local kid.

Isn't that because we weren't after him like that, so his head got turned and he has a chip on his shoulder about it?

If so it is still us dropping the ball, because we're supposedly taking on a weaker player and he grew up a fan and is from our state.

I kind of have fears the same thing will happen with Roc. If we lose out on LF (which is a HUGE possibility) and this kid out west is just looking for attention we could be left high and dry, and giving Auburn what I think is a great back. I like Roc a lot.

I think that if you told the staff today that we definitely don't get LF or any other back in this class they STILL wouldn't press hard for Roc. I just don't think he's a priority. Not after signing 4 backs last year. To justify signing 2 in this class(with Bo) they have to be a special talent. Roc is very good.

I believe Casher's family is close friends with Dameyune Craig. Sometimes the cards are stacked against so you move on

Craig has ties to Tre Williams' family, and also has a prior relationship with the Casher's because of Chris Casher.

I REEEAAALLY don't like the early signs I'm seeing from Dameyoon and his interaction with Bama stff on the trail. Its obvious they are after a different type of caliber player however it also seems like once he gets involved Bama backs off and doesn't wanna get involved and dragged down to his level

Ok, so this kid is from Minnesota, making it clear that Saban is working on that elusive States of the Union recruiting achievement, but does we really think he will complete it b4 retirement? That's what its all about at this point folks, but y'all worried about in-state stuff, lol!!!

can you decipher this for me.

If NS offers a center from Minn then I like this prospect. Most centers are not going to be much higher then a 3 star with probably only one getting a 4. You can have all the raw talent but if you can't read the defenses or make the right calls you can't be a center. Maybe that is what separates this kid from Minn then from the others some rate higher.

My response was to no one specifically

I love the reaction on this board. We just got the best QB commit we've ever gotten, and minutes later, people are complaining about a center commit. The coaches have so much more information and expertise on these things, so if they back off a recruit or make a position low-priority, they've got a reason. It's not like the coaches are lazy or incompetent.
