This is part of the reason I'm not sure Rojas is leaving. Even with our style you sometimes need that big body that can handle opposing big bodies from time to time.

Tchikou is 6’11 240....he has plenty of size.
Bediako is 6’11 220.... I’m sure Snowden can get him up to 230 by time the season starts
Langston Wilson is 6’9 and can jump out of the Gym.
We will have plenty of size inside and I don’t think Rim protection will be a problem next year

We were struggling with an opposing big body last night and Rojas never touched the floor.

How are some of the other SEC school's projected lineups?
Who's improving? Falling?

Don't think we'll really know for a while. Theoretically we could have some guys unexpectedly transfer or go to the draft too.
LSU seems to be losing Thomas, Smart, Watford and Days.
Missouri will lose the entire roster, basically.
Arkansas will lose Moody, Smith and Tate.
Tennessee will lose their freshmen, Pons and maybe Fulky.
Florida loses Mann (declared)
Ole Miss loses Shuler and White
Kentucky loses Clarke and Boston for sure. Probably Sarr. Maybe Jackson and Mintz.
Auburn lost Powell and Johnson, probably losing Cooper.

Rojas isn't really any bigger than Gary and Gary does the job that Rojas is either unwilling or unable to do. I really don't see where he gets minutes next year. At least one of KAH, Tchikou, Wilson, and Bediako (if we sign him) will work out, so that makes him odd man out. If two or three of them work out he probably wouldn't even play garbage time minutes.

I've seen full game films. He will be fine.
Only concern is he can be selective on playing defense. I've seen him lock guys down on the perimeter but he is not consistent with that. I'm sure Oats will get that importance across to him.

Barring any unforseen returns and/or departures either us or Arkansas will probably have the best roster situation in the conference next season. We look to have more coming in than they do right now, but Musselman does most of his recruiting in the portal so it'll be a while before all that plays out. LSU, Mizzou, and Tennessee will all probably take a step back and Florida will continue their slow decline under White. Auburn and Kentucky are the wild cards.

Rojas is not the answer to defending the post (or anywhere else). He got abused all year.
Wilson, Tchikou, Gary, KAH, and maybe Bediako. There's no room for a Rojas.

Probably like Q this year. Off bench but starters minutes. I’d rather have him Start at The 1 and start JQ at the 2 over Shack but Oats isn’t gonna do that
Haha that’s fricking hilarious. JD will be a one and done top 10 pick. There is zero chance he isn’t a starter.

And JQ is probably gonna be preseason All American. And I don’t see Oats not starting Shack after being a starter for 2 years and playing good defense

Losing Powell hurts Auburn because Thor and Smith are going to be a really unique and tough matchup for a lot of teams.
If their transfer from CoC pans out they will be pretty good.

I think the SEC will be between us(preseason Favorites) , UK, Arkansas, and Auburn.
Maybe Tennessee but idk

If Lewis, Castleton and K. Johnson come back then Florida should have a really good roster, too.
Getting hard to trust them at this point, though.

I think the fact that Rojas played ZERO minutes in our closest tournament game, while we were struggling with inside scoring and rebounding, tells us everything we need to know.
I think he will transfer, because the likelihood of him playing at all next season is pretty slim with the added depth. A lot of it could depend on Bediako as well. If we get him, Rojas has to see the writing on the wall. The kid put in a lot of effort and always played hard, but there are more talented options at his position. If he does transfer, I hope he finds a suitable landing place and wish him the best.

JQ will not be a preseason All-American. He’s not even a starter on his own damn team.

They are just so meh under Mike White.
I also think UGA will be much improved and possibly a tournament team.
I think LSU and Mizzou fall off.
