Surprised that Brad Underwood didn't make the list.

I am saying in my mind it is the genesis of the phrase he used. What he meant by it I have no idea. Clearly in this context it was inappropriate. I am 77 years old, in the 50’s it was a rather frequently used phrase but with the word farm.

Regarding McDermott, he clearly meant to say "off the reservation" IMO but had a brain fart. It's just that he can't come out and say "I meant to use this common phrase that is racially insensitive to a different group."

Lol, I had that same thought myself. I was like "Why didn't he just say off the reservation and he'd be fine". But then immediately thought, "Well, no that would not be fine either"

"We gotta stick together - we can't have anybody running out of the crumbling suburbs for lofts in the city"

Do you guys think we are locked in on the 2 line even if we lose Saturday and lose in our 1st tournament game?

No but I think there is a gap between us and West Virginia, Houston, Nova, Kansas, etc. We’d probably have to lose out and have a couple of those teams win out to drop to a 3. Nova and Houston have very little upward mobility because they simply aren’t gonna pick up that many more huge wins.

Also I think a win Saturday just about puts our floor at the #6 overall seed

It'd be a lot lower than that. Half the time we'd turn the ball over and give up a transition dunk. Overall it's probably like a -.3 or something.

Nate Oats and Alabama Basketball Seek Rhythm Heading into SEC Tournament

The second-year Crimson Tide head coach used the 2019-2020 Milwaukee Bucks as an example of what he doesn't want to happen to his team

For somebody with Avery’s credentials, his inability to draw up and have his players execute a simple inbound play was mind blowing. If a a close game went under a minute, we were screwed if they simply guarded the player inbounding the ball.
