Yep. He quit because Gottfried ruined his legs. Andrew was the one that had to wear a helmet in practice because he had so many concussions.

Next year will be very interesting. Think we have a great chance to be much better.
I know we have JD coming in but I think Q will be big next year if he comes back.
Also think Primo and Keon have the potential to really blow up.
For this year's tournament, I have a feeling that one or both of them will get it going.

Good game guys. The defense is legit and is going to be a huge asset come tourney time. Playing in unfamiliar arenas can really throw teams off shooting, especially the large ones. But defense travels easy. Add that with the fact that at any moment the offense could click again and this team becomes a legitimate contender.
I think the only type of team bama would want to avoid is one with an elite center that can take over a game, and there aren’t many of those any more and bama has played one of the few out there already.
I’m gonna go wander around Auburn now and see if I can find a PG anywhere

Current state of Alabama and Auburn basketball is about as good as anybody could hope for.

Abso-freaking-lutely. I never thought Auburn would be to the point that I expect to make the tournament every year and am disappointed when we don’t. I remember the days of saying “I’d be more than happy to be in every three or four years.” And I definitely didn’t expect for 5* guys to be in every class.
It looks like Oats has bama on a similar trajectory and should make for an interesting dynamic in the state.
Any of y’all remember when there was the phase on the rant where during basketball season Auburn and Alabama games were just fans saying “we suck... y’all are gonna win” “no, we suck... y’all are gonna win”?

I can’t stand that douche. He’s an emotional baby and he’s the guy who leaked that Desean Watson was in Auburn on a secret visit which allowed word to get to Clemson and pissed off the Watson family.
