It's quite possible that JJ is in fact lying or at least exaggerating for his podcast. On another note, the podcast is boring and basically unwatchable with that weird other dude that just sits there asking a stupid question every 30 minutes
You forget to mention where JJ didn't want to forfeit any salary to make it mutually beneficial.

At the same time, you just want us to give him up for nothing? That doesn't seem like smart business to me. Also you keep saying Griff broke promises but it didn't sound like Griff promised to buy him out and get nothing in return. Ultimately it was JJ's decision to wait it out and not request a trade then. Then he sucked and his preferred destination didn't want him. Now he's mad he has to play in Dallas for 2 months?

Exactly, "we will work" does not imply that Griffin is going to give him up for nothing. If Brooklyn wanted JJ, make a deal. It's obvious they wanted Blake Griffin and Aldridge more than JJ.I am so happy that David Griffin got us a couple assets and got rid of Melli in the deal. In this podcast JJ just sounds salty and entitled.

We already have the PG who can run the PNR without turning the ball over either. Kira Lewis can also use his speed to break the defense down even more. The defense will have to choose, help quickly to compensate for Kira's speed but leave too much space for Zion. Or stick to Zion and allow Kira to use his speed for a free layup

I'm a fan of college basketball and Alabama's team too. I'm not just some football guy who came over to basketball for just this season. All I was saying is to me personally making a specific round in the tournament means nothing if you don't win the whole thing. You can say after, we had a good season and I think we'll win next year. But you can't go and say "oh we're so good cause we made the Elite 8, let's hang the banner." It doesn't work like that in my mind and never has.
