It'll be a special team if we get strong defensive play from a couple of the new bigs + Jemison. Offense should be really deep with shot makers and we are overall more athletic than the last couple of years.

It's tricky... I certainly understand where you are coming from, but at the same time it's hard to argue that late november through the 1st of January is just bad timing in Tuscaloosa for basketball even if we hate to see it unfold that way. I was a season ticket holder and got used to playing crappy opponents in front of 4000-5000 fans back in the day. That said, Tuscaloosa would still show up for that one off big game in the early December. All that aside, the formula now makes sense, play a lot of neutrals in good spots and play the holiday tourneys.. Get your team geared up for playing away from home. I say all this with one caveat... I have seen us lose 3 out of the 5 games in Birmingham that I have attended.... Please let that change this year, I cant handle Pitino walking out with a W.

That Purdue environment last year was pretty cool. They brought 1000-1200 fans? Just hoping to see more of that.

That was a rough weekend as it turned out, lost to Sooner in football 2 days later.

I remember when they were saying that about Bethea last year and gave me year long blue balls. I’m not ready to be hurt again.

Iowa, Duke, Purdue, Louisville, and NC State are all releasing good content for their basketball program this summer. Ton of practice footage and different drills. Why are we seriously the one university that can't do a god damn thing for the fans to enjoy in the offseason. The only practice footage we get is a few clips from a discord.

I don't want to get ahead of myself, but that looks like a team that averages 125 points per game.

Sort of crazy how every year it looks like the offense is better. If we can just clog up the middle on defense we will be a final 4 team again. We are in the good ole days of Bama basketball.

If they hurry we can get another kid in the Tuscaloosa school system right around all the others graduate and hold him here longer

His wife volunteered in the basketball department back when Avery Johnson was coach. Nate married a pretty woman BOG. That's a damn unicorn. Maybe she'll even get him to start calling timeouts to kill runs.

My read way too much into this because it's the offseason conclusion from that video is that Richardson is going to be a big piece of the puzzle this season. He's in there more than anyone else.
