Not even that really. They stopped testing for marijuana and pretty much just test for PED’s and “drugs of abuse” which is almost exclusively cocaine.

PEDs have a pretty low level of ban and then the “drugs of abuse” is what have gotten guys like OJ Mayo, Chris Anderson, and others sent out for 2 years. Which is pretty hard to come back from

Just weird. Usually when we have filmed practices, Charlie Potter or someone puts it out on YouTube.

Oh well. I always enjoy the content. Helps us get through the offseason.

Alabama basketball will face Miami in the 2026 SEC/ACC Challenge, @JonRothstein reports.

The game will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 2 in Coral Gables as the Crimson Tide looks to win its challenge game for the third straight year.

That’ll be a helluva matchup. Glad it wasn’t UNC or Clemson again.

I’m ok with it. At least it wasn’t Clemson again. Miami is actually good. Jai Lucas is a good coach

I’m excited about that. My wife is from Miami and has family there. That will be a much easier ask than New York was

I considered Clemson back in the day. Went to check it out and everything. "Auburn with a lake" is more of a factual description than people realize.

I was hoping UVa. Miami doesn't really move the needle for me but better than some of the other options and the players will dig that trip.

Nobody is really talking about London Jemison. I think he is gonna have a great year and is gonna be one of the better/more important players on the team.

He had stretches last year where was really damn good

I always felt like Jemison felt that the defender was gonna get to him before he did so he hurried a lot

That’ll get exponentially better in year 2 I’d think.

He was explosive to the basket.

Jemison is Herb 2.0

With more confidence and a little more strength he is going to be tough on perimeter defense. And he has the size to be a mismatch against smaller guards. Oats will have him working on his shot and he was already decent from the corner. He could be 2nd or 3rd team All-SEC by the end of the year, imo.

I’m waiting for all this out of state recruiting to finally pay off and produce a billionaire or two to fund NIL for a generation or more.

That has been something that I have thought about... Not really from our perspective, but think about the Ivy league schools. It's been World War 2 era since any of them were strongly relevant in football or basketball. I have to imagine they have some unbelievable donor leverage from some deep pockets if they just wanted to have one more hurrah.
