You can chill on the stfu but fair enough on the stick to basketball.

In case yall were wondering, it was 348 days ago last year that Collins announced his commitment/reclass so we have to be getting close to the date we’ll find out about Diaz. Not entirely sure what is pending to make that be official.

Wonder if he will actually reclass now that Allen is back and Holloway seemingly cleared?

We need another 1 that is a good ball handler. Allen and Holloway will start; Anderson off the bench.

You can never have enough guys who can get creative and generate blow bys. I think Oats and Murphy took him with the intent that he'd reclassify.

That’s what I’m wondering too. I was thinking he might be the “plan of one or both don’t end up back”

Then again, we have roster space and a scholarship still available I assume. It’d be good to get him on the roster and acclimated to college but I personally don’t believe he’d really be playing meaningful minutes with Allen and Biz back. I’d be happy to be pleasantly surprised and one or two of our young guys are sure to pop off so better to have him than not.

A possible that Holloway might have to pay his way this fall semester. Remember they don't have to be on scholarship. A NIL deal can pay for it.

I think Holloway is definitely on scholarship. Oats has even said “we’re saving a scholarship for him”.

I do think it’s entirely possible he’s taken an NiL pay cut or at the very least didn’t get the pay bump you’d expect going into year three as the most experienced guard and the best shooter.

I’ve said a few times that obviously this is a shitty situation all around and I wish Biz hadn’t put himself in the position to have to go through it. But in this day and age where so many kids would’ve transferred out to a decriminalized state and blamed the system, Aden stuck around, owned up to it. Big redemption story for him I think.

I still think it's critical to have a backup PG to spell Holloway. Allen is capable of running the offense but I think his talents are much better off ball and allowing him to cut to the basket. He sort of struggled last season when he was asked to get creative (see Arizona game). Anderson seems like a twitchy and quick guard that thrives in Oats' system.

Hopefully he reclassifies.

He has to complete classes to graduate from high school. I’m sure he can do that on line- especially since OTM in Atlanta closed down- but taking the classes likely will take all summer. Collins committed in August. Diaz may finish by then.

Yeah, I hope this starts a movement to decriminalize marijuana so our law enforcement can focus on things actually rotting our communities. Untangle marijuana as a revenue stream for those dealing in things causing more ill.

However, this has probably cost Holloway money short and long term. I could see this capping his NBA stock a bit even if he has a great season.

For sure. Realistically his nba prospects are limited because of his size/defense. Hes such a great shooter that he has some future in professional basketball.

Allen didn’t come back here to play off ball

I agree. Honestly it’d be better for Aden to be the two and screen open because of his shooting.

He can play point at times and while Amari is resting.

Best case scenario whichever of them gets the board or is out on the break first can run it so it won’t much matter if we’re playing the way Oats wants with less half court shite than we had last year(when we were still one of the fastest teams)
