God I realize all my posts in the game thread have been negative today.

Not a lot to be positive about. Today or the future with this staff.

I’m more annoyed that everyone’s doing the same shite we did with Milroe where we shift the blame from the QB to the coordinator

Sometimes guys just play like shite. Especially young ones like Keelon

I know nothing but if they’re dropping a lot in coverage with safeties I e the top maybe it’s hard to hit deep passes. We knew Russell was going to struggle in the road but we can’t make mistakes like this when you have a young QB.

What have I missed in this thread?

Nothing, everyone has been amazingly cordial and extremely understanding of the coaching.

Interesting these recruiting services. The year Russell came out he was ranked 2nd behind B Underwood. So is it the coaching staff or just ranked to high

Immediately start moving the ball and gain momentum. Only for Grubb to call a QB sweep left, a quick pass (batted down at the LOS), and an empty set formation to the RB for 3 yards.

No RB runs to try and gain chunk yardage. Just more west coast PAC 12 pussy arse play calling that DeBoer loves.

still no offensive TD's

Grubb just won't commit to the run. Unless someone rips off multiple long ones ~100 yards is probably all we can hope for. It's shameful.

Remember those days of Mac dropping bombs to Smitty running wide open for TDs?

Good times. Guess I kinda thought we'd see that stuff with Ryan Williams and Keelon Russell.

Starting to think it wasn’t Milroes fault, It wasn’t Ty’s fault, and it’s not Keelons fault….its Deboers fault

We only are able to throw if someone is completely wide open. It was the same last week. It’s going to be a long season

That's a fact, but there's plenty of suck to go around and keelon playing like shite and Grubb coaching like shite aren't mutually exclusive

Kentucky is just trying to hang on. 1 turnover and the floodgates could open.

At this point we just have to accept that as long as Grubb is the OC we will not run the ball consistently.

Both can be true. He's 19 and starting on the road for the first time, but we've practically abandoned the run.
