Yep. This is a pretty average defense that has played way above their grade today. We would've easily taken "Only 14 points surrendered vs. UT at home" before the game

The talent, while nowhere near prime Saban era talent is still there. We hired a high school coach and a staff that couldn’t win in 2A in Alabama.

Defense caused three TOs. They haven't been bad. Now-a-days, holding a top 11 team to 14 points through 3 quarters is pretty good.
