Defense was elite. Then they lost 4, now 5 starters and started playing 40 minutes per game.
The defense should not get bashed constantly for being in the field the ENTIRE GAME against physical teams like UGA and UT bc the offense is the most putrid shite I’ve ever seen.
They have produced the only points Bama has, PLUS the offense spotted them 9 points, so Bama’s D has outscored UT’s offense by a point.
But year they are “weak and soft”

Believe me when I say this: Mike Shula and his staff gave us a better shot to win week to week than Kalen DeBoer. Mike just had much worse roster situation even though DeBoer's "inherited Saban roster" was much overrated but at least it was genuinely a top 15ish caliber roster.

So disappointing. I wanted to believe in this coach. Looked like we may rounded into form even after the UGA loss., but no.

I’m done with this program. Glad I got to experience the Saban era from 17 to 33, including as a student. Have more important things now than wasting time and money on this steaming pile of shite.

The last time I’ve ever felt this frustrated watching Alabama was the 2006 Arkansas game where Shula kept sending Tiffin in the game and Tiffin kept missing FGs.
