How does a referee miss a face mask tackle if he’s watching the tackle and it’s just the defender and the guy with the ball?

Bama is 23-1 under CKD when the offense has produced 21+ points.
The defense finished 9th in Scoring D in the nation in 2024
10th in the nation in Total D last year and have allowed 30 points or more just 4 times in 35 games.
They have given up the 2nd fewest points and the 2nd fewest yards in SEC play behind OU since CKW took over in 2024.
That’s fewer yards AND points than Kirby and Georgia has allowed since 2024.
Meanwhile, the offense can’t sustain a drive to save their life
