I hope smith does not get held back like 58 was due to seniority.

58 was held back because he had the emotional maturity and self control of a toddler.

Lies. 58 was indeed held back by seniority like Deionte Thompson was. And, I like Hootie but Deionte was a much better player; not a perfect player but an upgrade over Hootie.

Saban wants guys who know the play over guys who make splash plays sometimes and are lost other times.

Saban says #Alabama has several guys that will sign later or have signed but don’t want it to be public knowledge yet.

So was he referring to McClellan and Holden or is someone pulling a Marcus Banks this year?

I don't know of anyone who refers to 2 as several.

If only it's Washington. That would top this class off nicely.

Me either, personally, but I won't say nobody uses it that way.

Regardless, if several means 3+, then the class is almost complete and they got most all of the guys they wanted. I'll take that.

Saban playing that long con with Ms. Terry.

Has convinced her eating "several" oatmeal cream pies means "2" and has to keep up the charade publicly.

Meanwhile, there's a GA lugging out trash consisting solely of wrappers and boxes daily...

Do you know Brett Hudson and/or Nick Saban?

Yeah for me Washington would he the prize. He will be a beast in our offense.

I wish we could close out with..

Washington (TE)
McKinney (DT)
Alfred (SDE)
Henderson (WR)

- Have the three committed (Baker, George and Jayson Jones) flip to other schools.

- If we truly have 27 spots, then keep Jamil Burroughs.

- If we only are taking 25, then keep Henderson, Alfred and Washington.

You would rather have Alfred than McKinney? Im guessing because of different positions.

It's likely we would go the transfer portal route at WR if it came to that. Theo Howard from UCLA is one to potentially keep an eye on if none of the WRs come back.

Any news on TiderInsider about who is left on the board?

Other than the names posted here, a respected poster has mentioned that there is another name not being mentioned, but I'm not sure who it is.

Have also seen that we basically have someone in the transfer portal that we feel good about. Not sure if it's Howard or not, though. So the info on guys not being talked about is murky at best.

Washington is a Bama/Uga battle. Kirby is being especially nasty in the negative recruiting with him. Almost committed and signed with us. We'll see.

Don’t get me wrong in saying this but Kirby is losing a step on the recruiting trail some. If he fails to make it to the playoffs next year people will start to notice a lot more that he is Mark richt 2.0

Hold up, 247 lists Washington at nearly 6’8”. Is that right?!

Don't think Kirby is losing a step. Georgia pretty much cleaned up and got almost everyone they wanted. Georgia's average rating per recruit the last few years have been extremely high, probably highest in the nation.

Saban hasn't won many head to head recruiting battles against Kirby the last 3 years. Saban did get Sanders and Neal, they were heavy Bama leans that Kirby almost flipped.

Bama has higer ranked classes the last two years, but Bama has taken more players. Kirby is recruiting like Saban used too.
