Former NASCAR star Danica Patrick is finally opening up about her relationship with NFL QB Aaron Rodgers....
quote:

"We kept in touch a little bit, and there were some years we didn't talk to each other, and then some every now and again, but it wasn't until obviously recently that we actually had phone numbers," Patrick said, via PEOPLE. "We referred to each other as Chicago and Green Bay — it was very cute."

"I've learned a lot and as broken open as I was on the sad end, I have felt so much joy in so many more instances and so many more unlikely places than I ever have, so it's like my heart got broken open to both ends of the spectrum," Patrick said.
While on "The Sage Steele Show" this past Wednesday, Patrick accused Rodgers of being "emotionally abusive."...
quote:

"People could never imagine that I would lack … any confidence or belief in the simple things about who I am," Patrick said. "Everything was torn to bits. Because it was sudden, it felt like. It was my life. So like when you live with somebody, it’s your whole life. And because the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing."

If a man says something like "you're two hours late," or "I don't like your shoes," he's emotionally abusive.

Aaron Rodger’s has no contact with his family but then she acts surprised that he isn’t emotionally well adjusted and an empathetic person. Please spare me the sob story. You knew what you were getting into.

It's like she just grabbed a handful of words and threw them into sentences.

"Anything I don't want to hear, particularly as it relates to accountability, is 'emotional abuse.' Not real abuse - because that can be proven - but 'emotional abuse,' which is unseen. But it's there. Trust me."

I didn't really understand part of what she said. It was a bunch of word salad, but the fact that Rodgers never got married and just the way he is, it wouldn't surprise me that he would be a narcissistic douche.

I am sure she will find happiness if she goes to burning man enough times.

Burning Man will make her soul feel complete.

Every woman, EVERY woman defines emotional abuse on their own. I’m not defending Rodgers but any woman claiming emotional abuse should be viewed skeptically.

I hate when years later a woman claims abuse. Either break up with him immediately and prosecute or shut the hell up forever.

At the end of the day it wouldn't have worn her down to nothing if she had chosen to not live with a man she wasn't married to.

Funny, it’s only abusive after the fact. When he broke up with her, only then did she realize she’d been “abused”. If he had stuck around? All good.
