Funny you should mention this. I was on a plane yesterday sitting next to dentist from Savannah. We were shooting the shite about hunting and he said he and a group got back from a cast and blast trip somewhere around Matagorda a week or so ago. He went on and on about all the redheads. Said that was almost all they could kill. Limited the first 2 days exclusively on redheads. The last day they did kill a few teal and pintail to go with them. They also caught some bigass trout..

These come out just as good as Honey Baked (I've used the packet and made my own glaze occasionally - with no huge discernable difference) for a fraction of the cost and minimal effort. Like you mention, you can get a big assed ham that will feed a crowd or a few people for days for like $9.

This. I like to get them up to temp on the smoker. Don't normally glaze, just spritz with apple juice here and there. Good stuff and a pile of meat, plus you get the bone.

Speaking from a locals viewpoint, who knows her and her inlaws, she's a great person. She's thoughtful and intelligent. There are no skeletons in her closet. She will toe the party line and stick with Trump 98/100. She is also just a yes person with no real convictions outside the status quo. I will vote her over Cassidy I guess but will likely vote Fleming. She is an ineffective leader and just there.
